I completed my B.Tech CSE from LPU in 2016. The B.Tech CSE placements at LPU are good. 

The University has a separate placement cell which is operated by mentors who are responsible to train students for placement interviews. This placement training starts in the final year of graduation and includes lessons on technical skill development, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills training.

Yes, the LPU BTech CSE syllabus includes industry visits, internships and seminars. More than 1,500 students pursued internships during my batch i.e. the session of 2021-22. We were offered stipends of up to NR 50,000 per month during internship/on-the-job training during the final year.

BTech CSE from LPU is a popular choice for students. The course curriculum is well structured and helps the students to gather knowledge about the subject. My time at LPU has been great and has helped me to gather thorough knowledge about the subject. LPU conducts a scholarship test called LPU NEST. You can sit for this exam to get a scholarship and some concession on the course fee. As of 2023, the course fee per semester for BTech in Computer Science Engineering from LPU costs Rs 1,40,000 per semester. There are a total of two semesters per year. For the Computer Science and Engineering batch of 2023, 95% of the students have been placed at the top companies with an average package of 7 LPA.

Moreover, a BTech CSE student has secured a package of INR 52.08 LPA from Microsoft. There were around 1107 total recruiters and the top recruiters were Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, Adobe, etc. Most of the high paying packages were secured by students who belong to the Computer Science Engineering batch of 2023.

My cousin's brother is doing BTech CSE in Data Science and according to him, LPU is the best university to pursue AI courses. The university currently offers AI as a specialisation for BTech CSE courses.

According to the previous year’s VIT Vellore cutoff category-wise, you can get a seat in VIT Vellore in the CSE branch as you have rank under 27,000. You fall under category 4 based on the previous year’s cutoff.

Based on the previous year's cutoff and closing ranks, the cutoff rank for the CSE branch is 8,000 and the ECE branch is 16,000. VITEEE 2024 cutoffs will be published separately for each engineering branch. Candidates with a score of 118 or higher would most likely be put in the 1-250 range. Candidates with marks of less than 31 are predicted to secure a ranking of 20,000 or lower.
