One of my friends studied at MAIT. According to him, it is one of the decent choices for pursuing your engineering degree. The admission in MAIT depends upon various factors like:
Cut-Off for MAIT in Shift-1 |
||
Branch |
Delhi Region |
Outside Delhi Region |
CSE |
Min: 723 & Max: 1300 |
Min: 277 & Max: 548 |
Cut-Off for MAIT in Shift-2 |
||
Branch |
Delhi Region |
Outside Delhi Region |
CSE |
Min: 1538 & Max: 1962 |
Min: 592 & Max: 707 |
At your rank 1770, there are rare chances to get admission in B.Tech CSE through MAIT. However, you can get CSE through the shift-2 cut-off if you belong to the Delhi region. There are other branches as well which accept 1770 rank in the shift-1.
If you want to pursue your master's just for the sake of a degree then it is very well and good, but if you are intending knowledge and exposure well many of my seniors recommend pursuing the masters from any of the globally recognized institutions such as IIT, NIT, and so on.

Many top recruiting companies also take part in their placement program like Microsoft, TCS, IBM, Capgemini, ZS Associates, Crisil, Intel, Dell, HP, L&T, Phillips, etc. They also conduct industry visits and seminars, along with providing internships.
There is an entrepreneurship development cell in MAIT Delhi. The office is located in the 4th block of the ECE Department.
However, there have been cases when students struggled to get their certificates as the officials are not very responsible at EDC. There are also some other societies at MAIT if you wish to join.
Yes, with a rank of 1953 you can get a CSE seat in both MAIT and MSIT, in the first shift itself. The points below provide a brief overview of your chances to get a seat with the specified rank, along with the requirement of counseling.
Therefore, there are good chances for you to get a CSE first shift seat in the spot counseling rounds.
Jaypee Noida is a better option for a B.Tech in Computer Science. It offers better placements for CSE compared to MAIT. Jaypee Noida placements witnesses a placement average of around 95% for CSE branch. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 6-7 LPA. The highest CTC received by the CSE students is around INR 30-40 LPA. Google, Amazon, and Microsoft are some of the major recruiters that take part in campus placements.

The placement of the IT department at NIEC is better than the other core departments of the college.
The average salary offered is 2 LPA, while the highest is 6.5 LPA.
In 2020 more than 60% of the students got placed in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Amazon.
Students of this department have to look for off-campus internships on their own as the college plays no role in providing internships.
MAIT- The placement of the EEE department at MAIT is average.

Very few companies come to recruit students from the EEE department, and mostly the IT and CSE departments are favored. Companies like Accenture, Infosys visit the campus placements.
Internships are not provided by the college, but students can contact its placement cell for guidance.
More than 47% of the students got placed in 2020 from EEE.
Both the colleges have excellent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, libraries, and updated laboratories. MAIT has additional housing and gym facilities which are not provided by NIEC. The course curriculums of IT and EEE departments at NIEC and MAIT are not updated, and there is less industry exposure. The tuition fee for IT at NIEC and EEE at MAIT for four years is 3.87 and 4.69 respectively.
Yes, a CSE from MAIT will get you to the bright future if you have an interest in programming but this can only happen if you are extremely passionate about programming.
The only requirement is that you must be dedicated enough and persistent in your efforts. The highest package offered by MAIT for the CSE batch is 43 LPA by Microsoft (off campus) and 19 LPA from Amazon (on-campus).
You will definitely get the first shift in CSE at MAIT if you are from Delhi. However, you will not get the first shift from first counseling. If you are not a resident of Delhi, there are slim chances for you to get into MAIT. Even if you do end up getting admission to MAIT, you will probably get the second shift which I’ve heard from a friend of mine is just as good as the first shift.
According to the recent trends, the required cutoffs for MAIT for home students are from 15285 to 42615 and that from other states is 17952-27611.
The placement for Electrical and Electronics Engineering at MAIT is almost similar to that of other mediocre colleges in India. I have some friends at MAIT and here is some information that I gathered from them. m
Overall, the placement of EEE at MAIT is average.
