New Delhi: IIT Bombay has released the Round 1 cutoff of BDes Admissions 2024 through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED 2024). Candidates must confirm their allocated college at the official portal: uceed.iitb.ac.in by April 18, 2024.

Shortlisted candidates can either accept, float, or freeze their seats. Those accepting seats in the round 1 allotment can confirm their seat by paying the admission fees. Opting for 'float' indicates a willingness to accept the current allotment while remaining eligible for higher preference in subsequent rounds.
The admission process for BDesign seats is conducted in five rounds. There are 225 seats in six IITs: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Admission to these IITs for BDesign programs is based on UCEED 2024 scores.

Ques. What is the seat confirmation fee for UCEED 2024 Round 1 Allotment?
Ans. Seat allocation for BDes is based on the UCEED All India Rank (AIR) 2024. General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates must submit a seat acceptance fee of INR 60,000, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates must pay INR 15,000.
Ques. Can I get a fee refund if I withdraw my UCEED Round 2024 Round 1 Seats?
Ans. For withdrawing seat acceptance, INR 55,000 will be refunded for GEN/EWS/OBCNCL and INR 10,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates after deducting the seat cancellation and processing charges of INR 5,000.
