The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has started the admission process based on SAT scores. The institute offers NRI/PIO/OCI or foreign category candidates to apply for admission under the International admission category. 

The NRI/PIO/OCI or foreign candidates can also avail scholarships with fee waivers of 25% to 35% under merit, whereas SRMIST offers scholarships with fee waivers of 40% for SAARC countries and Africa.

SRIMST is a part of the member of the India Global Higher Alliance of the US-based college Board, that conducts SAT examination. 

The students who apply through SAT scores, not only avail scholarship benefits while studying at SRMIST, but there are some other advantages as well.

The other advantages include the Transfer/Twinning program to study abroad after 2 years of study completion in SRMIST, thereafter the final 2 years to be done abroad for a degree to be awarded by the overseas university. With over 200 MoUS with overseas universities, there are unlimited options available with the students.
