New Delhi: Osmania University has begun the application process for its Engineering (B.Tech/B.E, ME/MTech) and Pharmacy (BPharm, MPharm) courses for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.osmania.ac.in, by August 18, 2022. 

Osmania University offers a gamut of UG and PG Courses in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech/B.E, BPharm, ME/MTech, and MPharm programmes can submit their applications till August 18, 2022.

The university offers a BE/B.Tech, and ME/MTech courses in the field of Engineering and Technology for a duration of four years with various specializations.

Osmania University Engineering & Pharmacy Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the Engineering and Pharmacy Courses are required to need the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned below. 

Eligibility Criteria for BE/B.Tech:

• Candidates must have passed class 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as a compulsory subject or Diploma for getting admission into B.Tech/BE. 

Eligibility Criteria for BPharm:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% with Biology, Physics, Chemistry as a compulsory subject. 

Eligibility Criteria for ME/MTech: 

• Candidates must hold a B.Tech/BE degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% from any recognized university or its equivalent. AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications are recognized as equivalent to a B.Tech degree.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Pharm:

• Candidates must possess a graduate degree in B.Pharm from OU or any other recognized university with a minimum of 55% in the qualifying examination. 

Osmania University Engineering & Pharmacy Admission 2022: Selection Process

Selection Criteria for B.Tech/B.E: 

• Candidate's selection to the B.Tech/BE courses is based on the merit secured in an Entrance Examination (TS-EAMCET) followed by Counselling. 

Selection Criteria for BPharm: 

• Selection to the B.Pharm courses is based on the merit secured in Telangana State-Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS-EAMCET).

Selection Criteria for ME/MTech: 

• Candidate's selection to the M.Tech/ME courses will be based on the merit/rank obtained in GATE. 
• If a sufficient number of GATE qualified candidates are not available the admissions are made on the basis of the Entrance Test conducted by the University /Government.

Selection Criteria for M.Pharm:

• Candidate's selection to the M.Pharm course should be based on the marks secured in GPAT.

Osmania University Engineering & Pharmacy Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Osmania University @www.osmania.ac.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 450 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
