MSU Baroda Concludes Placement 2022; 145 B.Ed, M.Ed Students Receive Offers

New Delhi: The Department of Education and Psychology of Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) Baroda, arranged its first campus placement drive on March 26, 2022.

The COVID-19 situation from the last two years was a hindrance in the placement drive at MSU Baroda as there was no demand from the schools. This year a total of 17 highly regarded schools of Vadodara and also some international schools participated in the placement drive.

• A total of 145 students in the final year of B.Ed and M.Ed of the Education and Psychology department participated in the placement drive. 
• The selected students who also went through an interview would now be called by the applied schools for a demo.

About MSU Baroda Placements Amid COVID-19

Due to Covid-19, demand for teachers in schools was very low. There were only 2-3 schools that would approach the department and ask for teachers. No proper campus drive was being organized in the last two years. Students have to go through individual schools lists to search for the teacher vacancy available in the school, says M. ED students.

Esteemed teachers Negandhi, Dr. Sonia Rajput, and other teachers under the guidance of Dean, Professor R C Patel organized this placement drive for the students of the Education and Psychology Department.
