New Delhi: Manav Rachna Educational Institutions have entered into an agreement, signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Baccalaureate (IB). This collaboration aims to incorporate the IB Education Certificate (IBEC) within the Center for Advanced Learning at Manav Rachna University.
Manav Rachna University (MRU) and MRIIRS are set to welcome students from the IB's Career-related Programme (CP) to provide them with industry-aligned education.
Manav Rachna International Schools and Kunskapsskolan Schools, both part of the MR Group, are set to provide the IB programs. This partnership's primary goal is to implement the comprehensive IB continuum curriculum, including PYP, MYP, DP, and CP, within these schools. Furthermore, the plan includes the introduction of the IB's Career-related Programme (CP) within the Manav Rachna group of Schools.
This will enable CP students to enroll at two local universities, namely, Manav Rachna University (MRU) and Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS). The collaboration also involves the establishment of a Center for Advanced Learning.
This Center for Advanced Learning is designed to offer the IB Educators Certificate, targeting educators aspiring to gain the knowledge and expertise necessary for effectively and proficiently delivering the IB framework. This groundbreaking Center is committed to delivering world-class training to IB educators, making Manav Rachna Group the pioneering institution in the region to offer such training.
The collaboration with the IB reflects a mutual dedication to delivering comprehensive education to all students, broadening the accessibility of IB programs, and providing professional development opportunities and resources for educators.
The MoU was signed in the presence of notable individuals, including Dr. Prashant Bhalla, the President of MREI; Dr. Amit Bhalla, President of MREI; Professor (Dr) Sanjay Srivastava, VC of MRIIRS; Professor (Dr) I K Bhat, Vice Chancellor of MRU; Dr. Sangita Banga, Pro Vice Chancellor at MRU; Rashima V Varma, Director of IB Schools; Prof (Dr) Gauri Bhasin, COO & Executive Director of Admissions & Marketing; Rajiv Kapoor, Managing Director of MREI; Ritu Dubey, Head of School for IB at MRIS Sector 14; Emanule Pesoli, Head of Academics for IB at MRIS Sector 14, and Sunitha Nambiar, CEO of Kunskapsskolan Eduventures Pvt Ltd.
