New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has announced its 13th Medical Convocation on October 28 and its 11th Nursing and AHS Courses Convocation on October 29, 2023.
Informing about the event, the official notice informed that the JIPMER is preparing to organise its 13th Convocation (Medical) for PhD, DM/MCh, PDF/PDCC, MD/MS/MDS, MBBS courses of JIPMER on October 28, 2023, at 9:30 AM on the campus ground.
“The convocation (Nursing and AHS courses) for MPH, MSc (Nursing)/MSC, (AHS), PBDN, PGD, BSc (Nursing)/BSc (AHS)/BASLP courses of JIPMER are scheduled on October 29, 2023, at 9:30 AM in Dr APJ Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium, Puducherry”, the notice added.
To ensure the smooth commencement of the event, the rehearsal of the 13th JIPMER Medical Convocation 2023 will be held on October 27, 2023, at 2:30 PM. For the 11th JIPMER Nursing and AHS Courses Convocation 2023, the rehearsals will be held on October 28, 2023, at 3 PM.
The official notice informed that only those students who will join the convocation and receive their degrees on October 28 and October 29, 2023, will be present during the rehearsal.
To join the event, candidates should remit convocation fees of INR 1500 through SBI collect - JIPMER - Academic Fee - PHD MSC MPH BSC BASLP PBDN - Convocation Fee and send the duly filled convocation application form along with the receipt of payment (hard copy) by post to "The Assistant Registrar, Academic section, JIPMER, Dhanvantari Nagar, Puducherry - 605006,". The last date to complete the process is September 20, 2023.
In addition to this, students are required to submit a soft copy of the application form and payment receipt to the official email address at convocation@jipmer.ac.in. They also need to carry INR 500 as a caution deposit on the day of convocation for hiring academic regalia.
