As a HOD, your life cycle is too tough; you have to deal with students as well as your professors and brief them on the language of computer science. My role lies in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and my key time is spent on creating new methods and a new language for the student to learn and practice with the new language.

How do you Introduce real-world applications into your computer science research and teaching?

As in my educational journey, I believe in connecting academics to technology. In my research and teaching, I often visit real-world applications and use cases to demonstrate the practical relevance of computer science concepts. Industry collaborations, internships, and project-based learning are the key roles to gain real work experience to put their hands on, so to teach them, the first thing is to connect them to the real world rather than just giving the language or teaching with the old methodology.
