IIT Gandhinagar Conducts Virtual Open House for Data Science e-Masters; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IIT GN) will host a virtual open house for its new Data Science e-Masters degree program. 

For those keen on learning more about the program, the virtual open house will take place on March 17, 2024, at 11 am, via iitgn-ac-in.zoom.us/j/94978849109.

Applications for the inaugural batch will start in May 2024 and continue until April 5, 2024, through the IIT Gandhinagar postgraduate admission portal at admissions.iitgn.ac.in/pgadmission/login.

Despite the course's online nature, the class size is kept 40 to ensure personalised attention from faculty members. To enrich students with industry-relevant experiences, the program mandates a yearly two-week residency. 

Students will engage in intensive workshops and seminars during these residencies, enhancing an immersive learning environment. Moreover, the Career Development Services (CDS) office at IIT Gandhinagar will facilitate placements across various industries. 

CDS resources are tailored to aid students in exploring and strategising their career paths effectively. Furthermore, candidates will have access to recruitment opportunities akin to those in the regular IITGN MTech program.

In other news, the institute recently completed the undergraduate summer research internship application process. This internship spans eight weeks during the summer break of IIT Gandhinagar, occurring between May 5 to July 15, 2024.
