IIT Delhi to Organise Open House for JEE Advanced Qualifiers on June 15

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Delhi has launched an event called ‘Open House’ for candidates to get an insight into the opportunities at both the Delhi campus in India and the Abu Dhabi campus in the UAE. The event is for those who qualified in the JEE Advanced 2024.

The event is scheduled in hybrid mode, i.e., online and offline, on June 15, 2024. It will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Candidates can attend the event online by visiting the official YouTube link of IIT Delhi. The event will be conducted at LH 325, Lecture Hall Complex, IIT Delhi in the offline mode.

Open House for Female & PwD Candidates

The Open House for Female and PwD candidates who have qualified in the JEE Advanced 2024 was earlier scheduled for June 19, 2024, but has now been merged with the event on June 15, 2024. This Open House is being organised by the Initiative for Gender Equity & Sensitisation (IGES) and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE).

Key Highlights of IIT Delhi Open House Event for Qualifiers of JEE Advanced 2024

The primary objective of this event is to provide an opportunity for the JEE Advanced qualifiers to engage directly with Deans from key divisions: academics, Student Affairs, and Diversity and inclusion. Faculty members from the Delhi and Abu Dhabi campuses will also be present to address queries.

Participants can gain insights into IIT Delhi's academic programs, career opportunities, available scholarships, hostels, dining options, and research and teaching infrastructure. They will also get a chance to interact with current students to understand campus life and the supportive community environment.
