IIM Nagpur is giving the option of deferred admission to the candidates who have been shortlisted for admission to its MBA course and have accepted the admission offer.
New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Nagpur) has launched a Deferred Admission Offer Policy for MBA candidates from the academic session 2024-26. This will allow the candidates with a deferral of admission to the next academic session of 2025-27.
IIM Nagpur is giving the option of deferred admission to the candidates who have been shortlisted for admission to its MBA course and have accepted the admission offer. The offer has not been made public on the official website and is being offered to the selected candidates through personalised email.
The choice to accept the deferred admission policy is optional and purely voluntary. Students who will be accepting the offer of deferred admission will need not appear for the selection process again the next year. You must note that the deferred admission offer is being offered by IIM Nagpur only and will not be applicable for admission to any other IIMs.
The deferral of admission is applicable only till the next academic session. The fees and other terms and conditions will also be applicable as per the academic session 2025-27. You will be getting a full refund of the payments done so far for the admission process of 2024-26.
How to apply for IIM Nagpur Deferred Admission Policy?
You will be able to exercise the option for IIM Nagpur Deferred Admission Policy by going to the admission portal on the official website. Search for the deferred admission option and apply for it. You will also be able to apply for the refund of your payments made so far without any deductions subsequently through the portal.
The last date to accept the offer for deferred admission is June 20, 2024 till 1 pm. You must note that once accepted, the deferred admission offer cannot be reversed. The newly introduced deferred admission policy may result in an increased batch size of IIM Nagpur (if not too many students chose to defer).
