Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Released Merit List for MCA and LL.B. Programs, Check Details

Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University has released the LL.B seventh merit list and fourth provisional merit list for the MCA program. Candidates shortlisted for admission in LL.B. 1st semester have to pay the requisite fee by October 9, 2024. The last date for document verification is October 10, 2024. For MCA the last date of the submission of the requisite fee is October 10, 2024, up to 5 pm. Candidates can apply for MCA and LL.B. programs using the link below.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

• Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The degree should include Mathematics as a subject at the Class 12 level or as part of the undergraduate curriculum.
• Candidates are usually required to have a minimum percentage of marks in their qualifying examination. This is typically around 50% for general category students and may be relaxed for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per university norms.

Documents Required for MCA First Semester Provisional Admission

• One copy of the filled admission form downloaded from the official website i.e. https://hnbgu.ac.in/.
• One copy of the printed registration form downloaded from the Samarth portal.
• Two copies of fee receipt
• One copy of mark sheets and certificates (10th, 12th, and UG)
• One copy of the OBC-NCL/EWS certificate in the Central Government format issued on or after 01/04/2024 (if applicable)
• One copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
• One copy of the sub-category certificate NCC/NSS sport
• Original copies of transfer certificate, character certificate, and migration certificate
• Affidavit for the gap year after undergraduate (if any)
• All original documents for verification purposes

Eligibility Criteria for LL.B.

Minimum eligibility is 45% in the qualifying examination for general candidates, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST candidates. Rules & Regulations are changed from time to time by the University and regulating bodies.

Documents Required for LL.B. First Semester Provisional Admission

• One copy of the filled admission form downloaded from the official website i.e. https://hnbgu.ac.in/.
• One copy of the printed registration form downloaded from the Samarth portal.
• A government-issued ID, such as an Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID.
• Two copies of the fee receipt
• One copy of Mark sheets of Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent).
• Graduation degree mark sheets (for integrated LLB programs).
• One copy of the OBC-NCL/EWS certificate in the Central Government format issued on or after 01/04/2024 (if applicable)
• One copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
• One copy of the sub-category certificate NCC/NSS sport
• Original copies of transfer certificate, character certificate, and migration certificate
• Affidavit for the gap year after undergraduate (if any)
• All original documents for verification purposes
• Disability Certificate (if applicable)

The merit list is prepared based on documents uploaded by the applicants on the Samarth portal. In case any discrepancy is found later at the time of physical verification with original documents, the admission will be canceled, and NO claim shall be entertained in this regard and their seat will be allotted to the next candidate (in the waiting list.) The applicants may come for physical verification on any working day from 10 am to 3 pm.
