GGSIPU to Give ‘One Time Chance’ to Students Who Couldn’t Complete Degrees; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has announced that it will offer a “one-time chance” to the students who couldn’t complete their degrees over the past 25 years. The announcement was made by the IPU Vice-Chancellor on silver jubilee celebrations.

Informing about this decision, Vice Chancellor of IP University, Mahesh Verma said, “As part of the university's ongoing silver jubilee celebrations 'we will be offering a one-time chance to students who, for various reasons, couldn't complete their degrees over the past 25 years”.

He further shared that the university will host various programs as a part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations from October 5 to October 10, 2023. In addition to this, IPU will “honor 25 research scholars” working in the field of healthcare and focus on academic endeavors.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University started its silver jubilee celebrations in December 2022 and is set to continue until December 2023. This initiative taken by IPU shows its commitment to support educational pursuits and offer opportunities for academic achievement.

Along with various programs, the Silver Jubilee celebrations will also include daily activities, including singing, music, dance, plays, quizzes, debates, and stand-up comedy. These will be organized to offer participants and students a vibrant atmosphere at the 'Silver Jubilee Health Mela'.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), also known as IP University is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. The university has secured its rank among the universities in India by NIRF 2023.

IPU offers a wide range of UG, PG, and Research programs to students. The program is offered in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Law, and Medicine among others. Some of the popular programs of IPU are BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, LLB, etc.
