Rajasthan BTech Admission 2023 is conducted by the Centre of Electronic Governance, on behalf of the RTU. BTech Admission in Rajasthan for the year 2023 will be done on the basis of REAP 2023; registrations for which began on May 28, 2023. The Rajasthan BTech Admission is based on the marks obtained in a state or national-level entrance exam followed by a counseling session held online.

Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process popularly known as REAP is conducted by the Centre of Electronic Governance (CEG) Rajasthan, under the supervision of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) acting as an authority. Candidates can also qualify for the JEE Main to seek Rajasthan BTech Admission 2023

Rajasthan BTech Admission counseling has already begun for offering admissions to candidates to different Government as well as Private Institutions of Rajasthan. BTech is a 4-year undergraduate engineering course that is available in several specializations.

Rajasthan BTech Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for candidates willing to seek admission into the BTech programs in Rajasthan is as stated below-

  • The candidate must have passed/cleared 10+2 with at least an aggregate score of 45% of marks with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational as compulsory subjects from a recognized and known board such Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
  • The Candidate must have qualified JEE Main examination.

NOTE-40% marks in class 12th must be secured by the reserved categories candidates.

  • Any Candidate born on or after October 01, 1994, is eligible for the Rajasthan BTech admission process in 2023.
  • Date of birth (DoB) provided in the Secondary Education mark sheet or certificate is taken as authentic.

NOTE – For reserved category students - Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates, a five-year relaxation in the upper age limit are provided.

Rajasthan BTech Admission 2023: Selection Procedure

The following is the procedure for Rajasthan BTech Admission:

  • The admission procedure is followed by the online registration, choice filling, reporting in the allotted college, and payment of admission fee.
  • Admissions to BTech courses in Rajasthan are mainly done through entrance tests like JEE Main, REAP, and RPET.
  • The candidate must fill the REAP application form available in online mode.
  • The Candidates must register for the engineering admission process online on the official website of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU).
  • The admission is provided on the basis of merit and score of JEE Mains or any other prescribed entrance exam.
  • The Candidate will be able to check REAP results by visiting the official website of RTU.
  • The seats in the private and government engineering colleges of Rajasthan are provided on the basis of rank and score obtained by the candidates in the accepted exam. The Candidates will be shortlisted and selected for the counseling procedure on the basis of a merit list prepared by the concerned authority.
  • The candidate will have to appear for the REAP counseling process as per the prescribed schedule - venue and time mentioned.
  • The counseling will be conducted by various institutions on separate levels.
  • At the final stage, document verification takes place, the provisional seat allotment letter will be given to the candidates for reporting to the allotted institution and get admission.
