KCET 2024 Result Delayed; Check Official Update Here

New Delhi: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has delayed the declaration of KCET 2024 Result. As per officials, the result can be expected to release between May 25- 30, 2024

The KCET 2024 Result was initially scheduled for today, May 20, 2024. The authorities have announced that the PUC marks of the students are being compiled. Once released, you will be able to check your KCET 2024 Result by logging in with your KCET 2024 registration number and first five letters of name. The result will be displayed on the official website: cet.online.karnataka.gov.in 2024.

Along with the declaration of the KCET result 2024, KEA will also release the toppers list at the official website. KCET toppers 2024 will be released separately for all the streams. Candidates are advised to keep their KCET scorecard safe till the conclusion of admission process.

In the statement, KEA stated, "The results of KCET-24 can be published only after the announcement of the 2nd PUC 2nd exam and Agriculture Practical Test results. Further, KEA will officially notify the date on which results will be published, prior to the announcement date.

In a TNN report, Senior Assistant at KEA, Utham Kumar Badiger, explained the reason behind the delay, saying, "We have not released the CET results yet because of the second round of PUC exams, whose results will be counted for the ranks." "Probably in the first week of June, we'll announce the results, which will be on our website," he further added.

The KCET entrance exam for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses was held on April 18 and 19, and the Kannada Language Test was conducted on April 20, 2024 at various exam centres across the state. The window to raise objections to the preliminary answer key was opened from April 30 to May 7, 2024.

KEA disclosed that a total of 3.27 lakh candidates participated in the examination, reflecting the high stakes associated with the results.

The decision to postpone the results aims to ensure fairness and accuracy in the ranking process, as PUC exam scores are integral to determining ranks. This extension will provide ample time for the KEA to finalise the results and for students to prepare themselves for the outcome.
