New Delhi: Central University of Haryana (CUH) will commence a new degree course in Hindi Translation from the current academic year. As per the schedule, the Hindi department at CUH will offer a two-year master’s programme in Hindi Translation.
All the essential information and links related to enrollment in the program are available at the university’s official portal. Registration for the 2-year MA program offered by CUH commenced on October 21, 2022, and the last date to apply is November 04, 2022.
The vice-chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, expressed confidence over the start of this programme and remarked that the Hindi department’s proposal would help carry out the new National Education Policy (NEP).
The National Education Policy expresses the idea and dedication to fostering the Indian Languages. This initiative focuses on translation and aims to improve and bridge the gap between Indian languages and dialects.
As per Dr. V. N. Yadav, the head of the department of Hindi, the students who enroll in the master’s programme will have more job chances in the future as a result of the industry’s ongoing growth.
Along with the job, translation also provides fame for creativity. The New education policy thus aims to improve translation and help students develop skills in it, thereby increasing their chances of succeeding in the field.
Recently CUH also launched a master's degree in geoinformatics for which interested applicants can apply online till October 17, 2022.
The vice-chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar commended the launch of this new programme in the department of geography as significant. He also stated that with the help of geoinformatics, we could address challenging social and environmental problems.
