Chandigarh University PhD Admission 2022 Open: Apply till June 15

New Delhi: Chandigarh University PhD Admission 2022 has begun for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can apply for admissions on the official website at cuchd.in. The last date to apply is June 15, 2022 (4:30 pm).

As per Chandigarh University, the PhD admission is open for candidates who have completed their Master’s degree or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 5.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 from a recognized university or institute. 

For Chandigarh University PhD Admission 2022, the university will conduct an on-campus entrance exam on July 03, 2022. However, applicants who have a valid CSIR NET/ UGC NET/ GATE/ GPAT or SLET score are exempted from the exam. 

As per the schedule released for Chandigarh University Admission 2022, the result of PhD entrance test will be declared on the university website on July 19, 2022. Selected candidates will be further called for an interview round from July 26 to 27, 2022.

Chandigarh University PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process

Interested candidates preparing for PhD Admission 2022 at Chandigarh University must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria: 

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant stream with 55% marks or above. 
• Those who have completed any other equivalent degree with 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA on 10 pointer scale in the qualifying degree exam are also eligible to apply for admission.
• To apply for PhD in Engineering, candidates need to have at least 10 years of experience and 50% marks in their Master’s degree. 

Note: As per Chandigarh University PhD Admission 2022 criteria, the eligible candidates who meet the minimum educational qualifications mentioned above will be called for an interview round on campus. The interview will be held from July 26 to 27, 2022 by the Ph.D. admission committee. 

Based on the overall academic record and performance in the interview round and written examination, the admission authority will make the final selection of candidates for Ph.D.Program admission seats at Chandigarh University.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Chandigarh University at cuchd.in.

Step 2: Click on the "PhD Admission 2022" link available under the "Programs" tab on the homepage. 

Step 3: Read the instructions and register by entering your name, email ID, and contact number.

Step 4: Fill out the application form as required and upload a copy of mentioned documents. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee through debit, credit, or net banking means and click on submit to continue.

Step 6: In the last step, review your application and submit the same to complete your Chandigarh University PhD Admission 2022 registration process.

During the application process, candidates have to submit a copy of their certificate of GATE/NET (if applicable), mark sheets and certificates of qualifying degree examination and certificate claiming reservation (if applicable), and other mentioned documents.
