The Central University of Haryana (CUH) has decided to introduce three new masters-level engineering courses (M.Tech) from the upcoming academic session 2021-22.
Keeping in mind the new National Education Policy (NEP 202) and in line with the latest industry requirements, the three courses are being introduced by the Central University of Haryana. The university will set up the M.Tech programme in specializations such as Energy System & Management, Structural Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, with 18 seats in each of the three specializations.
Professor Tankeshwar Kumar, the Vice chancellor of the university stated that these courses are important in view of the various changes that are currently taking place on the technology front. Further, by studying these courses, the students can develop their skills in the field of energy, structural technology, and computer science engineering.

In view of the rapidly changing work environment and the latest industry requirements along with new National Education Policy 2020, the introduction of these courses will be an important part of the necessary teaching-training efforts in the university, he said.
Moreover, he added that by studying these courses, students would be able to get employment in reputed institutions and they can develop the ability for self-employment under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat campaign.
Around 18 seats will be available in each of these MTech courses, which have been started under the School of Engineering and Technology of the University. Dr. Ajay Kumar Bansal, the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology informed that the process of determining the admission program for the respective MTech courses will be finalized and notified to the students soon.
Last week, the university announced plans to begin three new integrated courses including B.Sc-M.Sc Physics, B.Sc.-M.Sc Chemistry and B.Sc.-M.Sc Mathematics.
