How do you strategize about the key plans for the marketing and administration of your Institute?
“To prepare online as well as the offline advertisement techniques for influencing aspiring students”
Our Institution is specialized in Hotel & Tourism management curriculum be it bachelor's degree, master's degree, diploma, and N.C.V.T affiliated trades in hotel management. So, it's obvious that I need to focus only on aspiring students of hotel management when we plan marketing for our institution. My association with AIHTM is over 6yrs and during these years I made a list of some districts in Uttarakhand from where we get the maximum no of admission each passing year then we go to that location and counsel the students and gather their personal information which helps us to contact them once they completed their 12th class
What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the institute and the students are?
“To provide students and fac qualities with well-equipped facilities to ensure overall development”
Any establishment grows with the hard work of their employees. My views are not different on this. I only feel satisfied when due to my hard work the institute generates revenue. If the institute is doing good means somehow my performance is also appreciable. Below mentioned are the roles and responsibilities towards the institute and students are:-
- To be punctual
- To create a healthy and competitive environment between the students
- Strict guidelines for student’s Grooming
- Proper follow up of the Timetable
- Organizing special lectures from industry experts
- Organizing industrial visits
- Handling staff-related issues and rectify them
- Marketing strategy
- Conducting class tests every month
- Organizing P.T.M
What should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?
“To face the ongoing pandemic challenge, deliver the best talents to the Hotel Management Industry”
Our top priority would always be to deliver the best of talents to the ever-growing hotel industry by adopting the current challenges due to covid in terms of quality education and the hotel industry.
Looking at the high demand of the youths to pursue hotel management in Uttarakhand we are in the initial stage to finalize a few locations to set up our branch so that those students who can not come to Dehradun due to financial problems can avail quality education from their respective homes.

What do you see as AIHTM Institute’s greatest strengths?
“Best Placement assistance provided by the college is the greatest strength”
Our greatest strength lies in our students because during their tenure with us we teach them in the right direction, train them, nurture them, and finally place them in star hotels all across India. Students feel proud of their institute and in return, they give the mouth publicity which works wonders for us in terms of revenue generation.

“Providing students with best practical and theoretical balance in their curriculum”
The curriculum we follow ensures 70% of practical’s and 30% of theory part which is a standard ratio for any Hotel management curriculum and apart from this, we set up our practical labs in such a way that by looking at our labs one can feel like a star hotel working area such as kitchen, restaurant, guest room, and reception and while performing in practical’s a student feels like working in a star hotel which boosts the morale and their confidence level too.
