New Delhi: BITS Pilani has announced its partnership with Airlinq, a technology firm based in the United States renowned for telecommunications and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, to lead the developments in 5G and IoT Innovation.
This innovative alliance of BITS Pilani is a result of the inauguration of the "5G Use Case Labs" during the Indian Mobile Congress 2023 by Prime Minister Narender Modi, backed by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) India.
These labs are set to become the hub for groundbreaking applications covering diverse fields such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication.
Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao, the Vice Chancellor at BITS Pilani Faculty, remarked that the collaboration with Airlinq signifies their dedication to pioneering innovation and forming strong ties between academia and industry.
Expressing that the objective behind this collaboration is to equip students and faculty to use the future technologies and innovate. The collaboration also enables that goal is to not only progress in comprehending transformative technologies but also to offer practical experiences for students.
