The debut batch of the two-year full-time residential MBA in Business Analytics course at BITS Pilani has recorded an outstanding placement rate, with over 95% of students already securing placements. The highest package was recorded at INR 27 LPA.

New Delhi: According to the BITS Pilani Officials report, the debut batch of the two-year full-time residential MBA in Business Analytics course at BITS Pilani has achieved an impressive placement rate, with close to 95% of students securing placements even before the academic session comes to an end.

A significant number of students have already secured placements in the BITS Pilani placement 2023, showcasing the program's industry relevance and demand. The highest package offered to a student reached INR 27 LPA, while the median compensation stood at INR 16 LPA.

During the BITS Pilani placement 2023, prominent companies such as Vodafone-Idea, Barclays, IBM, Volvo Eicher, Mahindra Logistics, Axtria, and Accenture were among the top recruiters.

Professor Hariom Bansal, the Unit Chief of the Placement Unit at Pilani, stated that the return on investment (ROI) for the two-year study program, which costs around INR 11 lakh, is 1.5. This surpasses many of the best B-Schools in the country. He expressed hope that with this success in the debut batch, the future prospects will be even more promising.

The MBA Business Analytics program includes three semesters of theoretical learning, followed by a six-month premier internship program (Practice School) at BITS Pilani. This internship provides candidates with valuable exposure to the corporate world before they embark on their careers in the industry.

Speaking about the placements, Arjun Jaideep Bhatnagar, the BITS Pilani placement coordinator, the MBA in Business Analytics program has received a highly positive response from the industry.

The two-year on-campus rigorous Business Analytics program, with a batch size of 60 students and an average work experience of two years, has yielded successful results. The considerable compensation offered to the graduates is a clear testament to the course's industry relevance, Bhatnagar said.
