BITS Pilani and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya collaborate in research and development.
New Delhi: An agreement was signed between The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Pilani) and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to increase collaborations in research and development, faculty training, entrepreneurship, and teaching.
This agreement will also organize joint conferences and workshops. The intention behind the collaboration is to utilize the strengths and skills of both institutions to create a synergistic environment for revolutionary efforts.
The official statement read, “BITS Pilani and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya are pushing the boundaries of research and education by collaborating on opportunities in the dynamic fields of transportation, supply chain, AI, Semiconductors, and beyond”.
Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani, V Ramgopal Rao, said “This collaborative alliance is a milestone in research, innovation, and teaching efforts. The Memorandum of Understanding highlighted the joint commitment to advance knowledge in the supply chain sector that will dominate our industries and business future”.
Vice Chancellor of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Manoj Choudhary, said “This is an excellent opportunity for the institutions to share the transport and logistics knowledge. Together with BITS Pilani, we are looking forward to creating a powerhouse of excellence in areas vital to the sustainable development of our society, economy, and nation”.
