AP AYUSH NEET Counselling 2024: Lowered Cutoff and Re-Inviting Applications for CQ, MQ and AIQ

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has announced the reopening of online applications for admission into AYUSH courses, including BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery), and BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery), for the academic year 2024-2025. This move opens up new opportunities for NEET UG 2024 candidates who meet the revised cutoff criteria to apply for seats under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ), Management Quota (MQ), and All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

Key Highlights of the Notification:

• Lowered Cutoff Scores:
  • General/UR/EWS Candidates: Reduced from 50th percentile (720-162 marks) to 35th percentile (720-112 marks).
  • OBC/SC/ST & PwD Candidates: Reduced from 40th percentile (161-127 marks) to 25th percentile (111-87 marks).
  • UR/EWS PwD Candidates: Reduced from 45th percentile (161-144 marks) to 30th percentile (111-99 marks).
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must meet the revised NEET cutoff scores.
  • Candidates from other states must adhere to local/non-local status as per G.O.P. No. 646, dated July 10, 1979.
• Application Process:
  • For CQ Seats: Applications are open from 9:00 PM on November 16, 2024, to 9:00 PM on November 18, 2024.
    • Fee: Rs. 2950 for OC/BC candidates; Rs. 2360 for SC/ST candidates (inclusive of GST).
  • For MQ Seats: Applications are open from 9:00 PM on November 16, 2024, to 9:00 PM on November 18, 2024.
    • Fee: Rs. 3540 for all candidates (inclusive of GST).
  • For AIQ Seats: Applications are open from 9:00 PM on November 16, 2024, to 9:00 PM on November 18, 2024.
    • Fee: Rs. 2360 for all candidates (inclusive of GST).
• Document Submission:
  • Candidates must upload original scanned documents for verification. Those already on the final merit lists need not reapply.
• Merit Lists and Vacancies:
  • Fresh registrations will only be considered for remaining vacancies in subsequent counselling rounds.
• Deadline for Admissions:
  • All admissions will conclude by December 20, 2024.

Important Notes:

• Candidates declared ineligible in earlier counselling notifications are not permitted to participate.
• No refunds for the application fee will be entertained.
