Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) program at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board.
- They should have taken Urdu, Arabic, or Persian as one of the subjects in Class 10 or 12.
- The upper age limit is 27 years old as of July 1 of the admission year.
- They must have a valid NEET UG score.
Guideline for Candidates
- If candidates fail to submit the application form within the specified time, they will forfeit their claim for admission.
- Applicants who have been rejected during verification due to wrong/illegible/incomplete uploaded documents may re-submit their correct documents within the specified time to take admission.
Note: Candidates who passed Class 12 from an open school or as private candidates are not eligible for this counselling.
