Scholarship status is very good due to government college, it is very beneficial as private college tend to disturb the sc students in giving exam but this college does not get much affected time to time fees is given and more over scholarship fees is always given by government more than the actual fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The trend of media is going very up so i choose this stream also i had interest in this also motivated me to join . This course should imply more on practicality rather than theory. Students should be motivated to go in the field to get more exposure.

CULMYCA is the annual fest organised by the university administration which is an annual cultural fest. In CULMYCA prominent Bollywood personalities and renowned Punjabi singers are invited to match the vibe of the fest. Vivekananda Central Library is the common library for all the students of the university in which a vast collection of books and journals are available to serve all the needs of the students of the university. Other than a common library some departments also have their own departmental library for the student's convenience. The university avails all the needed Classroom amenities to the students such as smart boards, CCTV surveillance, Neat and clean surroundings and so on. Sports can be considered an integral part of the university as the university has a dedicated sports department to focus particularly on the sports achievements of the university. Many students of the university have proved themselves victorious in different levels of competition.

Placement Experience:

Students become completely for the campus placements at the beginning of the last semester of their respective course. If I talk about my course MA-JMC under the Communication and media technology department of the university. CMT department organises a portfolio exhibition and placement program in which they invited various companies to recruit students. Some of them are Amar Ujala, Dainik bhaskar, Hindustan Times and the pioneer in print media and Tv 9 Bharatvarsh, Zee Media and T- series in electronic media. These companies gave to all the skilful students accordingly. The highest package offered in this placement drive is 12 Lacs per annum and the lowest among them was 5 lakhs per annum. In communication and Media technology, almost 90% of students got recruited in the placement drive.

The college is quite greedy when it comes to their fest Alegria. Except for that fest, the college did not promote department fests. Especially, in the year 2023, they basically dissolved all department fests as part of Alegria. The library is stacked with academic books. While most classrooms have good amenities, the college did not try to provide for the students of each. The teachers did their best to provide a good learning experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to get a better understanding of the mass media field. Given that it was the first batch of the course, there were about 20 students in the class. Except for a few in-house faculty, other teachers were professionals from the field. Two examinations took place in the year. The exams did not seem difficult.

It's a growing institution. The library has a lot of e-books and physical books as well but you can't get every prescribed course of your book there. The facilities are top quality. In every classroom, there are four fans and lights, and two ACs. An annual fest named Spandan is organized every year in February. Every festival is celebrated at the University. There are various activities going on on daily basis by different departments. Sports complex doesn't have any good facilities. Different clubs like drama club, dance club etc. are also starting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to study journalism so I chose this course. The course curriculum is very easy. There are 7 teachers and 30 seats in the M.A. course. There are currently 8 seats in pH.D. The teachers are very experienced in academics as well as in the field. They have great contacts and organize different educational seminars and workshops now and then. Teachers are always there to help. They are very supportive. There are two sessional exams in each term and assignments. Exams are easy to pass if you study with a focus in class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I was interested in Hindi literature since my childhood and also the poetic things fascinate me. There were 80 students in my college and they were divided into two section of 40 each and class timings are 10 to 4 . Each faculty is well qualified and have done their pg from the top institute in India. As BBD is also a university so it is authorized to conduct its exam so the exam is a very moderate type and before semester two sessional exams are held to get in touch with the examination pattern and syllabus. Exams are held according to the calendar published each year in February and March.

Placement Experience:

The placement is extraordinary in our college. The placement is almost 95 percent and most of them are get placed in the top mnc and BBD also have its expanded infrastructure and business that it employs more than 20000 people .so it recruitment is done from our college itself. The maximum package was given 10 lakhs and the average package was 5 lakhs and the minimum package was 4 lakhs. Almost 100 companies visited our company and every company selected almost 10 to 12 students. I plan to get a better job in the finance sector after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is professional and includes practical work. Institute of Mass Communication & Media Technology, Kurukshetra University has a special course to offer in Mass Communication and Graphic Designing and much more but the practical work is less here. The professors are highly qualified in their respective fields and also provide the required knowledge. The ratio between students and professor is fine, there are also ample guest teachers who become the substitute when the subject teacher is not available at times. The practical work for students in the institute is less as compared to theory work. The exams and mid-term sessions are conducted regularly and on time at times of ongoing pandemic too Institute has conducted all the examinations and the criteria of passing are easy the more you write accurately the more you score, it's not much to pass unless you submit your internal assessments and practicals on time which plays a major role in gaining marks.

Campus Life:

Kurukshetra University used to organize many fests annually, one of them is Ratnavali which represents the Haryanvi culture and is organized every year in university in the month of October-November. All the students are welcomed to participate in the different activities and also Institue of Mass Communication & Media Technology also organizes their own Media fest in which they invite other colleges media students and universities. The institute has its own personal library where students can find all the books related to their course and subject. The classrooms are maintained and clean. The university has its own separate sports ground and physical education department and sports hall where anyone can be part of the sports they want and if a student shows a sleek growth they are also offered to represent the university in that particular sports they are interested in.

The campus of Amity Kolkata is really beautiful. The library is huge and well equipped. The classrooms are all equipped with projectors. They have also created an entire building for indoor sports just last year. Amity is known for its fest and sports event which take place quite often. Amity is also quite strict with their attendance so you can easily go and use the facilities in between class breaks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to study for a Master's in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University Kolkata. For Master's, the classes mostly had 30-35 students per batch. The course had a wide syllabus and starting from Radio to Journalism to advertising, public relations everything was taught. Each curriculum had a professor from that particular field teaching the curriculum.

Campus Life:

TU will undoubtedly give you one of the best campus life. Situated near the Jia Bharali river, the TU campus is full of life with vibrant colors of different emotions that range out throughout. It has got one of the best displays of nature and celebrates Autumn and spring very beautifully. Annual fests are techxetra, arnaswat, and Insignis. The library is very big and beautiful and most importantly busy, but peaceful. The department has got a subscription to a number of research journals for its students and research scholars. The classroom is digital and teaching is done in both traditional as well as digital ways. The campus has a gym, swimming, and other facilities. And in terms of the club, there are debate clubs, literary club, drama club, dog lovers group, clubs for different sports and games, etc.

Placement Experience:

There is campus placement for different departments like MCJ, MBA, B.Tech, etc. However, there isn't 100% placement. The students at times themselves find jobs, but the Campus placement is not inclusive of all. There's a placement cell and it organizes timely workshops etc. However, the kind of placements that should have been generated does not gets generated. In the MCJ department, ETV Bharat, Teach for India, Adfactors PR, etc are some of the good placements that come. So, I'll say overall 70 % get placement, but not all of them are campus placement. In my department, I along with 2 others got placed at Adfactors PR and Will get a CTC of 4.56 lakhs after joining. The other companies give around 2, 50,000 as a starting package in MCJ. In MBA, it is higher and touches near to 4,00,000.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is based around individuals who have previously worked or been closely associated in both the media and education sector. The teaching method employed in Mass Communication is very good since it attracts the attention of students and encourages participation through the use of visual slides, presentations, and videos. Similarly, students are given the freedom to write answers in their own words in theory examinations and allow them to present their opinions in a more realistic and rational manner

Placement Experience:

In Mass Communication, the sixth semester requires students to do a 45-day internship in a media company. On the other hand, B.Com students have the opportunity for campus placements and the college gets approached by the top MNCs and companies of India without plenty of presentations being given beforehand about the portfolio by company representatives. Many have previously been to avail jobs at top institutions like Amazon, Wipro, Microsoft, etc., and continue to do so in the coming years.

Social work department of university is one of the nest department. Environmental science department is very active in environment conservation, plantations etc. Hindi department have exceptional poets. I have personally enjoyed Hindi conferences. There is a magazine too published by Hindi department amd mass communication department. Also there are frequent guest lecturers in every department. Mass communication department also invites very talented guest lecturers. English department runs a literary club. 3 students from each department are members of this literary club. Students of University also conduct poetry, singing and modeling competitions. But the activities are not frequent.

Placement Experience:

MBA students generally are first choice of companies. Amidst pandemic 3-4 students got a good package. 70k per month in Byjus. Somr students got placed in private banks like Axis bank. You can check the official list of selected students of CUJ website. Mass communication students in 2020 didn't get placements but in past students were placed in ETV bharat with starting salary 19k. In mass communication and MBA internships arr important. Both courses encourage internship in last semester due to corona internships were impacted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is all perfect and I really don't think there is any need to include anything more as it is already perfect fit for any student. The college faculty is great as everyone are kind and are always ready to help n support you whenever in need. Student ratio is almost 50:50 as I see the samne no. Of girls and boys in the college. Teacher's try to teach each and every part of the chapter so everyone could understand and pass with great marks. Exams are always on time like others colleges and if one attends every lecture of the college then the exam is very easy as all questions are taught in the lecture.

Remarks:

Firstly this college is in posh area of mumbai so many students prefer this college and many alumni of this college are now well known in India. Admission process is also very easy as we only need to fill a form and we get our admission done. You can also refer the official site of Hinduja college for all the activities carried out through out the year in this college refer k.p.b hinduja college.com

Campus Life:

Very huge campus with ample of possibilities and opportunities. Sports is a very highlighting fact of Reva. Library is spacious and with enough varieties, but equipments they provide to the students for practicing requires attention. everyday lift issue is really a worthless situation, fighting for lift and getting late for classes. teachers avoid talking in English and they mostly prefer speaking in Kannada language and people like us from different states fail to understand, fail to create any bond with the teachers or students, and then unity becomes a negative highlight in such situations.

College Events:

Overall my two years of experience was good but certain issues could be mentioned, like teacher Student bonds, canteen facilities, wifi availability, crisis in practice equipments, usage of internet for project works, lift hustle, corridor shouting kannada speaking teachers and so on. I don't have any grudges but the experience could have been far better, if these issues weren't present.
