In the last year we had gone to the Bokaro steel city to do a workshop in bsl plant. Which was quite good experience. The students were mostly from Delhi , Bihar , up ,and some are from Haryana Punjab and West Bengal.

College Events:

When I joined the college then we have a fresher's party function. The function was in a very big Hall in which the seniors and we are invited by them. At last all the freshers have to say their names in some funny style. I have also participated in this.it was very funny moments in the college. Campus Life:

you have opportunity and you will get the chance to do whatever you want to do. One thing i didnt like their was restrictions. Each and every students was against the restrictions they applied for the hostelers. like a non hosteler can not come to hostel nor in day nor in night. If you are in hostel.1 then you can not go to hostel 2 to study with your friend or to meet him. This is the point where i think change in required.

Exam Structure:

amazing. they keep on changing the exam pattern as per the students feedback and experienced faculty. Which makes quite helpful for students to pass with good grades. when i joined and in the first year it was different exam pattern but in 3rd year it changed and in 4th year its again changed. So, they keep on taking the feedback from students and make the structure accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was almost the same for all branches till the third year and the only difference was jumbling of subjects across branches. While coming to the electives, we had no option in our college to select the elective of our choice and the college management decided the elective which we have to choose based on the availability of the faculty.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure for a counselling student is as per the norms of the government and JNTU Hyderabad. but, whereas for a management student it would very costly. And as I was a counselling student , I ended up paying 28500 every year. Moreover, management used to lieu heavy fines for the students who' have low attendance.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Fees of Kjsce is quite high around 1.5 lakh a year. Though college offers a great deal its still very high though lot of schemes of scholarship are offered by college n government. It removes a lot of load but leaves quite a lot to deal with. For SC/ST/Nt its pretty low like around 15k per annum but for rest there is no relief.

Campus Life:

Campus life is good and secure. But it is more like school rules. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in campus and there are strict rules and fines if anyone is not following. Labs are fully equipped and are good. College focus on additional activities as well like inter college debate competitions, GD's etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is not updated and i think it is same from many years. Code is as per Punjab Technical University Curriculum and should be updated.Curriculum is same which is from last 10 years. Now DAV is deemed university and thus I am not sure if the curriculum is different that PTU curriculum.

Ques. Which is better: Electronics and Instrumentation in BITS Pilani or Computer Science in BITS Goa or Hyderabad? Why?

● Top Answer By Divya Saraf on 05 Aug 23

Ans. The decision should be completely based on your interests. It is always better to choose a course that has ample opportunities; otherwise, you will end up jobless. You have to maintain a good CGPA to get a placement here since the competition level is very high. BITS Pilani is comparatively better at academics and placement support than BITS, Goa, or Hyderabad. When it comes to the selection of the course, Electronics and Instrumentation are a bit difficult for scoring a good CGPA. After this course, you are open to both CSE and EEE fields for your higher studies (based on the electives you have selected). CSE is comparatively better, which opens up  high opportunities and BITS across India provides placement support for students with good CGPA So, choose wisely based on your interests.Read more

Ques. What is the difference between EEE, EnI and ECE at BITS, Pilani?

● Top Answer By Prateek Sharma on 05 Aug 23

Ans. BITS Pilani does not offer an Electronics and Communication Engineering Program. When comes to ENL and EEE, there are some key points you should keep in mind as an applicant, which are listed below Opportunities – In the current scenario, EEE opens up more opportunities than ENL. For Instance, the Indian Engineering Examination is only applicable to students from ECE and EEE Campus – BITS Pilani is far better than BITS Hyderabad as they have well-equipped lab and infrastructure Placement – The three batches can sit for the placement, but the companies give more weight to Communication and Digital Signal Processing So, it is better to choose EEE than ENL at BITS Pilani.Read more

Ques. How good are the placements and packages for electronics and instrumentation in BITS Pilani?

● Top Answer By Prakash Singh on 14 May 24

Ans. When it comes to the BITS Pilani campus, the scope of getting placed at top companies is huge. First, let me tell you about the placement process that is followed by BITS Pilani.  The placements are divided into two semesters for all three campuses. You will have to choose which semester you want to sit for placements by the end of the third year. Normally, students who sit for the first semester have a CGPA above 8 and those who sit for the second semester have a CGPA in the range of 6 to 8.  Mostly, those who have less than 8 CGPA do not get to sit for placements in the first semester. The job offers from the recruiters are good. About 15-20 companies visit the college for both semesters.  However, your opportunities are better if you get to sit for the first semester. So, try to maintain a CGPA above 8.Read more

Ques. How many marks are required to get an admission in NIT Warangal CSE, IT or in the electronics branch?

● Top Answer By Shivani Singh on 19 Aug 23

Ans. To get admission into NITW, you need to secure a certain rank in the JEE Mains exam.  These are the closing ranks for round 6 of JoSAA counseling to get admission into these branches at NIT Warangal, for 2023: Course Quota  Seat-Type Gender Closing Rank CSE HS Open Gender-neutral 3115 CSE OS Open Gender-neutral 2413 ECE HS Open Gender-neutral 6516 ECE OS Open Gender-neutral 5814 ECE (VLSI) HS Open Gender-neutral 7103 ECE (VLSI) OS Open Gender-neutral 7047 EEE HS Open Gender-neutral 11388 EEE OS Open Gender-neutral 9265 Out of the branches mentioned by you, NIT Warangal does not provide B.Tech IT. You can also check the 2023-2024 cutoffs of other branches and categories for NITW However, I would like to tell highlight a few things- Electronics and Electrical value your ability to remember random figures rather than polishing your technical knowledge.  The syllabus and question paper for both these courses is below par at NIT Warangal. The syllabus for them is outdated. Placements are high at NITW, but software profiles are mostly offered.  Most students start coding from their pre-final year because of low placement chances in the core companies of other disciplines.  The college infrastructure and hostel facilities may disappoint you.  Government colleges other than IIT D, B, and K are lagging behind in reality. They have subpar infrastructure and their administration is old and rigid. They offer no extra support and opportunities to their students. All of this combined with the rigorous academic schedule causes plenty of frustration. Read more

Ques. How is instrumentation and control in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal?

● Top Answer By Kalyani Shankar on 09 Sept 23

Ans. The Instrumentation and Control Engineering branch at MIT Manipal is a multifaceted branch dealing with various subjects related to Electrical, Electronics, and mechanical. Students are taught about sensors, transducers, electrical and mechanical instruments, microcontrollers, control systems, process automation, etc. The branch is good and its labs are equipped with modern instruments. The faculty is decent and the placement scenario seems very promising. One of my friends recently completed his BTech in instrumentation and control and gave me an active idea of the placement scenario of the branch. Out of the entire batch around 95% of students got placed. The highest package stood at INR 20 LPA and the average stood at INR 10 LPA while the lowest was recorded at INR 5 LPA. The star recruiters included Mercedes, Flipkart, Amazon, and Nvidia among many others. Overall, this branch is great if you are interested in this field.Read more

Ques. How is instrumentation and control at NSIT - infrastructure, faculty, course content, scope, placement and research opportunities?

● Top Answer By Akriti Banerjee on 23 Aug 23

Ans. Here is all the information about ICE at NSUT Delhi- Faculty - The ICE faculty is a mixed bag. There are some teachers who teach really well and their classes are enjoyable. However, there are some strict ones as well. Some do not care about their subject or the students at all. Coursework - The ICE coursework is fine and gives you ample time to pursue your interests. Infrastructure - NSUT Delhi has undergone infrastructural changes recently. This is because it has gained University status. The college library is centrally air-conditioned. ICE shares most of its labs with the Electronics and Computers branches. The labs are well-equipped. Placements - Placements are less as compared to COE/IT branches. Few companies offer jobs to ICE students, especially for Core job profiles. Generally, DRs and people with exceptional profiles are placed in ICE. Internship offers are also less for this department. Research- ICE students are actively involved in research work. The ICE faculty encourages students to participate in research. Students also work under DTU, IIT Delhi, and IIIT Delhi teachers. ICE students work on around 3-4 projects while at NSUT Delhi. Scope - ICE students drift from their core stream to a programming job or an MBA. Some also prepare for an MS.  This is all the information about the ICE branch at NSIT Delhi.Read more
