1.The specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the subject and study of the course. 2.The curriculum prepares me well for the real world applications nad for The further academic pursuits.It gives the view of the collage in my mind and prepare me well for the real world applications. 3.There is no need of improvement in the course curriculum and the teaching methods.The way they teach is very easy to understand and its very easy to applicable in the exams,the teaching they provide is very easy to understand so that any one can easily understand about the concept and knowledge of the subject. 4.First,the frequency and timing of the exam are very comfortable.There are 6 semesters in this course.For each semester there is 3 to 4 months to prepare for thexam so that the timing is very comfortable to ready and prepare for the exam.Secondly,the difficulty level of the course,there is no difficulty to prepare for the exams in my perspective view.

Campus Life:

1.The names of the annual and technical festivals, along with the months are given below : January - we celebrated the traditional festival of pongal along with the departmental function it self . August - we celebrated the sports day as well. October - Every year they conducted the cricket league between the departments. 2.There are high quality and quantity of books and journals available in the library about the subject and about the other subjects too. 3.The classrooms n my department are very good,technically they provide a projector for explaining the class.The classrooms in my department are very specious and good. 4.There are very good at sports and some extra curricular activities in this collage like cricket, volleyball etc,extra curricular activities like NSS,NCC,SRC etc. 5.NSS,NCC,SRC are some of the social run groups for students.Especially NSS and NCC is very effective and popular between the students.

This course is very rare and most of them don't know about this very rare universities provide this course all over India. This course is interesting too. Students in this course are not many as it's not that famous but it's worth choosing this degree and the faculties are too good and Frank with us they take individual care of everyone. Our professors are PhD holders and experienced. They teach us with proper explanations and make us participate in every single classroom activity so that we can improve ourselves. Exam papers are sometimes difficult and sometimes medium if you will study and take notes properly you will pass easily. In every semester there will be 3 exams 1. Internal- 50 marks 2. Modal - 100 marks then 3. End sem - 100 marks.

Campus Life:

There will be an annual fest and many more functions in our college which you will be able to enjoy a lot. And there are many extracurricular activities like sports and many clubs and NCC. Our college is famous for sports, especially cricket. For more details about clubs and sports, you can check our college website. We have NCC AIR WING AND ARMY WING in our college too.

Campus Life:

College life was great, I enjoyed and learned a lot during my journey also the college campus environment was great. The library was full of great books, there were so many extracurricular activities always organized that I took part in them.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, geography and defence studies. Of all of them, I was most interested in defence studies. It always fascinated me a lot to learn about ancient and modern techniques of the art of war.

Campus Life:

Every year there will be freshers and farewell party for the juniors and seniors. The availability of books in the library was excellent all types of books based on my course. Body building and cricket are famous sports in our college. NCC and NSS social groups.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The scholarship is available as per the caste-based. First-year fees were including admission was 1100. Second-year fees were 400. The third-year was around 500. This college doesn't provide any campus. No stipend job avail for this course.

Campus Life:

Campus Life is peaceful and relaxing and also cheering. college held many traditional supportive events at time intervals. The library is huge and has lots of books on it although the classroom is pretty basic and talking about sports.I don't think sport is a cup of tea...but it's there. I haven't participated in any kind of extracurricular activities.there is a student council in our college that is run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BA because I want to prepare for civil services exams. Talking about faculty, it's pretty great and students like here very much comparing others. Teachers are also very helpful and supportive. Exams are held at the end of the education year and it's pretty hard to pass the examination to get almost 60 percent

The course curriculum was quite intense and hectic but I really enjoyed it. The course was three years long and had been divided into six semesters. There were exams at the end of each semester. The course gave us a detailed explanation of the terrains and geographic locations as well as helped me with choosing to serve my country.

Admission:

The admission to my course was based on how I did on the entrance exam conducted by the university. The exam questions were mainly aptitude, communication, and other general questions. The marks of the exam and the marks I got for my 12th were the deciding factors of my admission.

As we are not aware of this kind of course which name is Defence and Strategic Studies in India we are not aware and knew about the reputation of this course in foreign are high because they have this course in top university like Texas university and Cambridge university these are the some which has defence course this made me to join this course and pursue it and get more knowledge about it and I have started searching for it then I got to know about this course is there in Guru Nanak College where I have already got Call letter for the Course of B. sc Computer science, then I took an risk by rejecting the call letter and again applied for the course B. A Defence and Strategic Studies after a long wait got into in.

Admission:

Guru nanak college is an autonomous institution which provides UG,PG, & Research programs. Every year the mode of application for freshers is through online mode.The candidates who are willing to take this college for their higher studies has to apply online for the respective course they like. After the submission of online application the candidate has to wait for the call for from the college management for counseling.The students are given seats on purely merit base. The counseling ends with all the verification of certificates from the candidates.once the student gets the seat he/she is a student of GNC.

Actually my course of stream is different from regular courses.It's an unique course which is offered by the government to students to learn about the wide opportunity of national security and the strategic management of Armed forces during conflicts. College is very friendly , good type of exam section , library sectiom ,all different sections , 8canteens , all available , good enviournment , security , even with cctv camers , 3parking areas with 4wheelar parking an 2 whiller with 15 watchmans , cleaning v nice , maintained greenery , but a bit people roam in college in couples ,
