- The crowd of DAV college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- Faculty are quite good as well as experienced one with good backgrounds

- The hostel facilities are very bad which includes the washrooms and the mess in particular.
- Coming to the cons- Attendance is not taken seriously, they take up a few hundred bucks at the end of the year and let go of those who don't even attend one single class (they will take down my review I am sure).

- The college location Is great which is in sector 10. That’s a great location with tennis court opposite the college. The college road doesn’t have much traffic. So not much sound of horns etc

I chose my course which is bachelors of arts as it has a good career option as we can take part in some exams by while studying with the course. It was very nice of me and my colleagues that they had the chance of getting the best of both classes together to get a chance at the same class together in a good way to make it possible to do the best of it all and get a chance of being a good teacher in a good classroom with the best of students in a class that is in a better position than in a good place and good college

the course is good there is one mid semester exam per semester and one final semester exam the difficulty level is medium and retest are there for those who fail . the curriculum is also theoretical only people might have some specialisation for practical subjects

I wanted to try other streams besides NEET and JEE so I told my parents that I wanted to pursue a BA and I got selected for this College. For further academic pursuits, you can easily get as due to exposure to open-minded people. Overall I personally don't think we need any improvement at the moment as all are top-tier. The exams are conducted well timely and so such difficulty is faced me.

- Not enough coaches to train one in any field if one wants to start from scratch. You'll have people who can guide if you are already a professional. No place for amateurs, especially in Sports.

DAV College Chandigarh placements has a remarkable record of 90% of its students placed annually. The college favors academic merit as students with higher academic marks often bag better employment prospects. After 4th semester students can get jobs in IT companies and other jobs. I choose this course because I want to go in government line after my degree and I have also a plan to go foreign country for my higher studies, the faculty is very big with around 1500-2000 students in one department and the teachers are the best they are very helpful to the students there are two exam one is mid semester exam and other one is semester which is after every 6 months and mid semester is after every 3 months and I think if you study just before 1 month exam you can pass easily with good marks
Placement Experience:
There are various internship programs in our college. However, I am pursuing graduation in BA general. There are no such placement opportunities. However, students who are doing graduation in BA Hons get placements. Students who are brilliant are often interviewed by top companies. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA.

DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
