Placements were made at the end of the second year. The school heads vitsited the college campus and the shortlisted candidates were taken on board starting from 1st of april. The best part, the faculty allows youo to join during the college hours as there is not much of the theory to be taken care of!
I want to become a teacher. There are 10 teachers for 100 students and all faculty members are very supportive. All the faculty members are P.Hd in their respective subjects. Also, the way of teaching is very nice. We have yearly or annually exams but continuous evaluation through assignment was also there
I chose this course as I had my major in home science so no other college was there for b.ed in home science as I wanted to pursue teaching so I opt for this. There are around 10-15 teachers in the b.ed faculty of Lady Irwin College. And around 90 students of b.ed. So every teacher teaches some part of every subject in an interdisciplinary manner. Teachers are really good and well educated most of them are M.ed. and some could be PHD also and their way of teaching is very practical and experiential. Term exams occur two times as b.ed is an annual course so after one-year exams happen. One is during September -October. Final exams happen in May probably after the completion of the second year.
I chose this course because I have always wanted to become a teacher. The faculty: student ratio in this course is 1:10. Most of the teachers in this course have Doctorates. Others are in the process of completing their doctorates but are still highly competent and impressive. They teach mostly by lecture method. B.Ed is a course with an annual system. So main exams happen only once a year. But throughout the year, several activities and assignments are given. The exams are quite challenging, they will require you to study in depth and be on point.
I choose this course as I wanted to do BEd and it's related to counselling as well. The faculty ratio was 1:23. The teaching method was learner driven and the faculty was quite experienced. The course had yearly exams and the questions in the exams were based on practical knowledge and the difficulty level was medium to high.
I had done B.ed from lady Irwin college and cleared it's entrance exam. I want to do b.ed as I was very passionate about teaching. I loved to spread knowledge in students and want the students learn not only from books but learn by doing it.
I gave the B.Ed entrance exam and qualified it. Teaching is one profession that has always inspired me so I opted to do B.Ed.
