Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking to get admission to a full-time program should follow the following criteria.
- Candidate having passed XII std Examination of any State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate of any stream(Science, Commerce, Arts, Home Science, MCVC, etc.)
- Candidate having passed XII std from any State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 50% marks in one year Vocational course related to Hospitality studies is eligible for the first year of the degree course.

The course is updated as per changing trends in the industry, for example keeping in mind today's Covid situation subjects like accommodation operations, food production has involved chapters like sanitization, double sanitization etc, talking about industrial exposure no. of dignitaries visit almost every month in college to give seminars, international industrial visits are arranged every year.

Course curriculum is quite futuristic and provide use progressive education training scheme to impart, through training both practical and theoretical knowledge of every phase of hotel, catering and institutional management. Students are provided with industry experience from the first year. Industrial visits are planned almost every month giving each and every student to show their talent and expose themselves to the atmosphere. Faculties at D. Y. Patil shts are a nice blend of academically and professionally experienced people. This gives them a rich viewpoint that combines the practical with the theory. The student-faculty relation is more of a two way than a one way interaction.
