Modern Group of Colleges was established under society in the year 1994 in the City of Hoshiarpur, Punjab. It is affiliated by I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University and is a constituent college of the I.K. Gujral PTU.

B.Tech	Duration: 4 years Eligibility: Candidates need a JEE Mains score for admission into the course. Along with it, candidates need to have 50% aggregate marks in class 12 from science stream. Specializations: Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
B.Sc.	Duration: 3 years Eligibility: Candidates need to score 45% aggregate marks and 40% for reserved in the relevant subjects. Specializations: Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Microbiology, Laboratory Science, Fashion Designing
BCA	Duration: 3 years Eligibility: Candidates must have passed class 12 with 45% from a recognised institute.
BBA	Duration: 3 years Eligibility: Candidates who have completed class 12 with 45 % marks and 40% in the case of reserved categories can opt for the course.
B.Com Hons.	Duration: 3 years Eligibility: 12 from a recognised board with 45% aggregate score

MGC Hoshiarpur Admission Guidelines

The admission into the Modern Group of Colleges is conducted based on the merit list prepared by the institute. No entrance exam is conducted for admission purposes.

How to Apply?

Visit the official website of the Modern Group of Colleges.
On the Home page, under the section of ‘Future Students’, candidates need to click on the option of Admission.
The application/registration form will be opened up on the same tab.
Candidates need to fill up the personal details like their Names, Parents names, family income and address.
Further, candidates need to fill up their education details and Date of Birth.
After completing the form, candidates can submit the online application/registration process.

MGC Hoshiarpur Placements

Modern Group of Colleges has a separate and dedicated placement wing which looks after the process of placements in MGC. The Institute has the facility of providing both on-campus and off-campus placements to the students.

MGC Hoshiarpur Scholarships

Modern Group of Colleges has recently started a COVID 19 pandemic scholarship. Candidates getting admission during the pandemic period will get a certain scholarship in the terms of fees. Along with it, there is a norm for fee concession based on marks or merit scored by the candidates.

Scholarship or Financial Assistance is available to the students belonging from reserved category. The scholarship is also provided based on government schemes such as MCMHS. Candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir can avail of the scholarship under PMSSS J&K Scholarship.

I liked the environment and the hostel food. The classes were neat and clean always with wifi support
The college was giving equal opportunities to all.

The teachers were not good enough to guide us.

Admission:

We have to be 10+2 passed for eligibility. Application form has to be filled offline from the campus. Admission process was simple and easy. It was really taken care of as all was connected to it. Not much time was wasted

Non-medical in 12 is very important to admission in b tech. there has a college website to read about the college and get admission. FREE wifi is aslo available for students. big ground and best ensoulment. the scholarship is also available for students

Admission:

I can choose this college because of Reasonable Fees and the college was established in 2015. And The location is good. MGC campus is well equipped with modern facilities laboratories, acoustically designed classrooms, WIFI enabled campus, and other campus facilities.
