Being a medical student most important thing is clinical practice and patient load is the main aspect required for clinical practice and the patient load of RGMC, thane is really great and which due to which we can learn more or clinical practice
Interaction between the faculty and student is really great as number of student is less and faculty are also very supportive especially Dr. Sachin sir from physiology department

Dislikes

Campus size and distance of hostel from college is the major issue in rgmc thane campus is not very large compared to other medical colleges and boys hostel is almost 7 km away from college

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is one the most respected coarse which drive me towards this coarse. As in medical colleges we taught directly by the doctors hence their experience is passed on to us and we have direct clinical posting which helps us to grow more of a clinical abilities. Exams done after every 3 months and difficulty is usually like you cannot answer every question because thier is no limit in the syllabus every thing related to medicine will be asked in exam .

It is not a place with a fancy campus or canteen. It's in its budding stage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite a bit vast for those having a slow reading speed. Thus, it was difficult for me to make a transition from a NEET-oriented to a theory-oriented exam. This field also involves finding a balance between study and non-study hours. It was difficult in the early days for me to figure out which books to follow. I liked AETCOM being added to the course.

Lesser number of students per batch is a beneficial factor
Helpful teachers and seniors that help at every step like choosing of books to study to how to prepare for exams

Dislikes

Campus , the campus is very short as compared to the other medical Colleges
Canteen facilities, the college actually does not have its canteen as of now ,it's under construction

The MBBS course is itself a blessing to have as lakhs of students per year appear for its entrance and her only a few thousand get selected. The curriculum is good overall ,the only thing that is stressful is the less duration for 1st . This puts a great burden on the newly admitted students

Faculty’s teaching is on projectors, very clear and nice. The senior teachers are truly amazing and have complete expertise in the subject.
Infrastructure is nice. The classes are air conditioned and gave proper benches. The practical laboratories have all the required equipment

Dislikes

Hostel must be in the college campus, not far away.
Certain equipments need to be replaced by new ones.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is well respected field in this society. My dream to become a doctor, since I was 8 years old, came true when I took admission to RGMC college. The curriculum prepares us for real world applications by making us capable to face challenges, have practical approaches in times of panic, use our knowledge in the right manner at the right time. Areas of improvement could be improved facilities and equipments, better training, proper usage of time etc. Frequency of exams is 4 times in one year : two formatives and one preliminary exam, then finally university exam. Timing of exam is 10am to 1pm , that is 3 hours. Difficulty level is set higher than university pattern for better practice of students.

Cultural fest and sport events are very nice
Practical classes are very interesting and help in visualizing human anatomy

Dislikes

No mess or canteen facilities are available in college
Sport ground is not too big and has less equipments

Curriculum is competency based which tries to help in overall development of student in all aspects. Every subject is given equally attention. Every department conducts seminars, different sessions in which students has to present different topics on stage which help them build confidence for speaking on stage.

Professors of this college are highly qualified and experienced.
Patient load of the associated hospital is very high which will be be helpful in learning clinical skills during internship.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of this college is not much good. College building is really very old.
Campus of this college is very small. It is very congested.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good but it's not in the favour of students I would say. It's really very hectic for students. We have a lot of writing work like journals, logbook,etc. We need to write reflection of every event happening in the course in our logbooks. We have shart deadline for completion of work. Subjects of MBBS are also very vast and we have limited time to complete it. And writing work takes our a lot of time during which we could have studied. But this situations make us prepared to take a lot of pressure and to deal with problems.

classroom - which is clean and have ac ,so students can study comfortably ,benches are also comfortable .
library-all books which one students required is available in these ,students can seat their and study their comfortably .

Dislikes

campus- their is no campus for students ,so students have no sports activity .
security -their in not a strict security available ,so any incident can take place easily .

Placement Experience:

there is the placement of Dr. in this college which has an average placement of 11000 rs for MBBS doctors and for MS, MD it will be high. after completion of 4.5 years of courses in mbbs students are eligible for placements .in last year it included internships through which we have placements in different colleges and we get a salary regarding these. After getting my degree I plan to do an MS in neurology which is related to the brain.

Placement Experience:

Talking about the job and placements you'll never find a doctor not earning. Medicine is a noble profession but for survival, doctors have to earn money. In internship itself students start earning and as time passes they get paid more and more. In an internship, they are offered to pay 11000 rupees per month and after the completion of the internship, they are offered around a lakh rupees per month.

Placement Experience:

We don't have any placements as we are in the medical profession. As the input is less into the college everybody gets out with 100%pass percentage. After MBBS we got to do post-graduation and then multi-specialist, super-specialist courses.
