I chose dentistry because it is all about artistic skills. I've got a good handwork. In the real world, dentistry is very necessary for medical and aesthetic purposes. Exams are conducted in every two months.

Most of the faculties are good and friendly.
Online resources like Yengage is helping us alot

Dislikes

Some faculties are very bad and have partiality for some students
No social events and cultural activities conducted

As this is 4 plus 1 year internship course,access to patients are very useful for clinical practice in future.every internal exam are conducted once in three months and then university exam is conducted.

This is actually a nice course and interesting too.From second year onwards you will get chances to shadow the pg staff and get to know about each and every department. You will come to know your interested field too.

Faculties are the highlight. Maaji Jose ma'am is a very good example.
Facilities are top class. Adequate space for everything.

Students groupism mentality which comes first
Competition minded people around us is negative

I really like the course. So i don't feel a burden even if it is tough. Usually exams happen once is two months which gives nice time to study. Curriculum is well looked up by the faculties and the portions usually get over one month prior to University exams

college and hospital is in the same building
exams are very thought and hectic schedule

usually we have three internals prior university . we should score average marks from these to write university. exams are really tough .beacause of this internals students are very stressed .they should provide more practical exams than theory

A WiFi enabled campus with very good infrastructure.Hygienic cafeteria,Centralized laundry available in hostel,international standard gym , sports and games arena

Dislikes

Strict rules , hostel is compulsory and have many formalities for applying for a leave

Course Curriculum Overview:

Class starts from 8 or 9 and will be till 2:15 in the afternoon with a 15 min or half an hour break depending on the day.Theory and practicals will be taken by the respective staffs.75% attendance is minimum requirement for being eligible for the university exam.Extra classes for covering attendance are given rarely and depends on the staff and the department.Mentor mentee meeting will be conducted once a month.It is very helpful as we can discuss any of our issues with the mentor and they will be there as a very big supporter.1 mentor is allotted to 10-12 students.After each internal results will be given within a week or 2.Then a mentor mentee meeting will be conducted with the parents to discuss the marks and attendance.The question papers are mostly on intermediate level but can range from easy to difficult too

Lotus where students can chill during their break

No encouragement for extracurricular activities
Targets students for silly matters in hostel

Need more improvement in this field need more general knowledge and personal experience teachings which the college lacks should try to understand the students better and not target them which will emotionally and mentally torture them

We have three internal exams. And the gap between them is three months. And one final university exam. 1st internally we usually find it difficult as we will not familiar with the topic and how to write and gradually we get used to it

The college has a student freiendly and a stress free environment and students can have fun

The leave procedure are so hectic and tirering
The hostel food is not improving and many students have an complaint about it

Beautiful campus with greenery and fountains . Wast campus with all the eminities
Pretty much interactive learning. Lectures are pretty friendly and are always supportive

The distance from One block to the other is pretty long

We have got real life patient experience . We have rural camps and mobile units that go to rural places making us very much eligible dentists giving us a lot of opportunities to Handel patients. From 3rd year onwards we are supposed to begin our clinicals that is working on patients. The starting 2 years we are made eligible to take up patients.
