I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Medicine [MD] (Community Medicine) course from All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health. They have the easiest admission procedure and the administrative department is very helpful.

This is one of the prestigious institutes for allied sciences and medical sciences in India . The college has this positive vibe which will give you the real feel of education . The social life in college is very good as you will get to meet various well known doctors of different fields .
I fulfilled all the admission criteria by giving the entrance exam and I had a bachelor? degree from one of the colleges affiliated with West Bengal University. Also, the application form was available at the campus admission department so I filled it and attached the relevant documents mentioned in the form and through this way, I got my confirmation letter for the further counseling process.
For all, I liked the academic and the campus life of this particular institute. Also, the library was much bigger than expected and there was so much to read relevant to the core field and also some interesting novels for the students with enough copies.
The admission procedure not so simple. It was quite tough. The students got admission in the course only when they cleared West Bengal Post Graduate Applied Nutrition Admission Test [WBPGANAT]. The eligibility criteria was B.Sc or B.Sc (honors) in food and nutrition/dietetics/ food technology with minimum 50%.
To get admission in this college I had to appear for an entrance test WBPGANAT that is conducted by the West bengal University. After this I was selected based on merit and personal interview conducted by the college.
