- CGC Jhanjeri is offering scholarships worth INR 25 Crore to students pursuing higher education. The applications are open from Dec 2024 to May end 2025 based on the marks secured.
CGC Jhanjeri has distributed scholarships worth INR 10 Crores in the year 2023. CGC Jhanjeri grants CGC Josh – A Scholarship Test that gives financial assistance to students aspiring to pursue Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Application, Journalism & Sciences courses at CGC Jhanjeri. JOSH SCHOLARSHIP exam will be conducted in 2 stages with day-wise slots.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges has Initiated scholarships of 5 CR to 400+ Students in 2021 then reached 7 CR to 1100+ students in 2022 and further touched 10 CR to 2500+ students in 2023 and plans to give scholarships of 12 CR in 2024".

CGC Josh – A Scholarship Test that gives financial assistance to students aspiring to pursue Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Application, Journalism & Sciences courses at CGC Jhanjeri. JOSH SCHOLARSHIP exam will be conducted in 2 stages with day-wise slots.

CGC JOSH Scholarship Guidelines
Here are some guidelines candidates must keep in mind before applying for CGC JOSH Scholarship.
- JOSH SCHOLARSHIP exam will be conducted in 2 stages with day wise slots.
- It is mandatory to fill all the necessary fields with asterisk(*) marks.
- Password for exam will be generated by default as the date of birth in the format of (ddmmyyyy)(For example- 10jan2008) .Month must be mentioned in first three alphabets of month in small letters only.( for example- jan,feb)
- Once you have registered for an exam, it will be valid for 15 days or until the deadline to fill it out, which means you must take the test within that time frame. This need is relevant for both phases.
- Students can reschedule the exam date only within 15 days of registration.
- Students will get a second chance to give the exam only if he/she has missed the exam (scheduled by student) in the first chance only.
- Result of the JOSH SCHOLARSHIP exam will be declared within 24 hours.
- Students have 30 days from the time the results are announced to collect their award. If not completed, the exam will be rescheduled when the cost is paid.
- Exam and registration of stage 1 cannot be carried forward to stage 2.
ACGC JOSH Scholarship Progression Guidelines
- Student has to maintain discipline and acceptable behaviour during the scholarship period.
- A student who receives a scholarship who is the subject of current or past disciplinary action may have their award revoked or terminated.
- Student needs to maintain satisfactory performance in studies with no backlog. These students act as an ambassador of the college.
- If a scholarship recipient decides to stop their studies, they must return the scholarship money they were awarded in accordance with the scholarship requirements, as well as pay back the full cost of the completed semesters.
- The scholarship period shall be one year, which is renewable under satisfactory student performance.
- Tuition fee waiver shall be considered on a case-by-case basis for each program.
How to Apply for CGC JOSH Scholarship?
Here are the steps to apply for CGC JOSH Scholarships.
- Step 1: Visit https://scholarship.cgc.ac.in to sign up.
- Step 2: After sign up, login ID and password will be sent to your shared phone number and email id.
- Step 3: Login to your account using the same ID and password, and complete your profile.
- Step 4: Pay the fee and schedule the exam slot as per convenience within 15 days or before the last date.
- Step 5: On completion, syllabus and sample papers will be shared with you on the same dashboard.
- Step 6: Appear in CGC Josh examination on the scheduled date and time.
- Step 7: The result will be displayed on https://scholarship.cgc.ac.in on your dashboard within 24 hours.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
• B.Tech CSE Fees for 2022-2026 Batch :- ?47,500 per semester throughout the course. The Fees is increasing each year, the fees for 2024-2028 Batch is approx. ?75000 per semester. •Scholarship :- CGC Jhanjeri conducts a scholarship test, CGC JOSH during admission . This test is conducted in 2 stages, from December to may and June to August respectively. Scholarship ranging from 10% to 100% is provided according to marks scored ranging from 40 to 93+ in the scholarship test. • Financial Aid :- CGC Jhanjeri offers Education Loans to Students. EMI facility for tution fees is also available for students. For Students from Bihar and West Bengal, Bihar credit card scheme and West Bengal credit card scheme are also applicable.

- Boys to girls ratio is very good and enjoyable
- Facilities provided by the college is also very decent.
Dislikes
- Placements are a bit of disappointment to look at.
- Growth opportunity is not that much in the college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The tution fee is 1.3 lakh per annum for general and obc students but for SC and ST students there is exemption from the tution fee. This tution fee includes all the fees from labs to development and other charge. The hostel and mess fee is roughly around 50000 per year and this compulsory for all category of students. There are scholarship opportunity for SC and ST students and also for female candidates. The fees have gradually increased over the years. It is a trend across most college due to inflation and infrastructure development.

The yearly fee at CGC Jhanjeri is about 130k, CGC jhanjeri also has a scholarship program generally known as CGC Josh, a student can get up to 75% of the scholarship according to the marks scored by the student in the CGC Josh exam.

- One of the best thing of college is greenery.
- Faculty is very cooperative. They support you in your study.
Dislikes
- The main thing is that some desks are not in good condition.
- The projectors of some classrooms are not in working condition.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fee structure per year is 95000 Tution fees is 30000, registration fees is 10000 There is no concession based on category so every student has the same fees structure. Scholarship students can get here is cgc Josh which is provided by college itself. It's an exam.

- Actually, in this college nothing is to dislike .
- There is 9:30 to 4:30 classes but it's not permanent.

The year - wise fees I paid is 140000. The admission fees is zero but registration fees is 1000, prospectuse fees is 1000, Admission councling fees is 2000, Dress fees is 3500. No relief for school and st There is a scholarship scheme after the Josh scholarship exam .

- Attendance system is so bad that student came only for this not for study
- Library don't issue book for one sem but we have to come after every 10 days to reissue it
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
I joined in this college in 2023 in August. In starting i also take hostel service for 1 year that cost me around 110000 excluding electricity bill. And now i m in PG . The fees for one sem is 39600. And also college charge different fee also like of fest, annual function etc.

- I liked that there is a healthy crowd in the college .there are student who are studious ,students who are good at sports and students with arts field so there is no rat race going on the college .
- The fest of the college .if someone is the type of guy who enjoys the fest and events this college is for u .because there is always a fest going on here .or some other events every week .
Dislikes
- The college is not so close to town so the connectivity to all other places and city is a long way to go .
- The network issues even though they provide wifi in the college but as soon as u exit the college block ...the wifi is gone and here the mobile network doens't work nicely so payments and Instagram buffer alot .

Academic fee: 71000 per semester Uniform fees : 3500 Admission fee: 2000 Registration charges :11000 Caution fees:3000 There is no other fees than this and the fees for other caste or categories are also the same . There is a exam called cgc josh. If u give that exam before admission which is very easy u can get a deduction of upto 30000 in your fees .

- i don't like the class timings we have about 5 to 8 classes every day of about 50 mins that sucks

I have paid 70650 so far for the ist semester including uniform fee and admission fee The fee for one semester is 71000 excluding the hostel fee and there are 8 semesters in b tech ai ml Also there is an opportunity for students to get scholarship as they conduct josh scholarship test every year and any student can get scholarship upto 90% i got 15% that helped me a lot

- Our college infra is really very good, campus is really beautiful all the necessary labs are there.
- Our college also have E- CELL where you can share your idea be it anything business idea, startup idea. If they liked it they will help you with that providing and even funding too.
Dislikes
- Campus is bit small compared to other top colleges, but still it is enough as all things are available
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fees is around 1.45 lakhs per year. There are facility of scholarships through the cgc josh, however i have not given that but many of my friends have given and also got good scholarships. Also for the student of bihar they can take the benefits of bihar student credit card (DRCC).

- College campus is too big , for a one day visit
- Sometime lectures didn't happen at time and sometime teachers didn't come to attend lecture

Total fee for the masters of business administration program at Chandigarh group of colleges landran is 246400 tuition fee plus hostel fee of 220000 This university also provides the scholarship facilities for SC and ST and conductor examination for entrance
