Well, I didn't apply to any other college, Vartak has always been my first preference because the quality of studies is considerably good in here and secondly, as I live in Virar this college is close to me as compared to any other ( with good quality education) and travelling to college takes only about 25-30 minutes from my home. The admission process weren't tedious at all, I took admission last year (2023-2024) for FYBSC and the cut-off for first merit list was around 74 percent, I got my name in first list ( my percent was 77) also their wasn't any entrance exam essential for admission it was entirely merit- based hence, for me the admission experience was very good.

I applied to some colleges in south bombay but did not go there because of travelling time. The locals are usually late and all colleges have very early morning lectures. The admission process of vartak college is mostly online.

This course is quiet good to understand the financial aspects so the process is like we had to fill an online form and then university form and after a certain period if the name appears in the merit list then we have to physically present the documents infront of the staff .the process is leangthy enough also the staff is rude towards parents too which i didnt liked thr cut off was on reservation basis also and normal basis also the exams are difficult and well maintained

It's not much complicated. Only you have to fill out the form of your respected stream, after submitting it with the required documents you have to wait for the merit list. Disclosure of the list is sometimes improper and talking about the cutoff, it is very high. I got 89% in 10 std and it took me 3 lists to clear my name. There must be an improvement in technology, form submission must be online which saves time for mang students if they also applying for some other college
You must have cleared the 12th std. First, have to fill Mumbai University form and then the college form from the website of the college application fee is 100 Rs. There are reservations for the lower caste.
The good admission process is pretty smooth. The last cut off for Computer science is 55% for the open category and 50% for Caste. In the admission process, the colleges deliver 3 lists. I got admission on the 2nd list as my HSC percentages were pretty low but I got no worries as Computer Science is a very pratical field. Overall I would rate 9/10 for the admission process.
The admission process was online. Forms were submitted and we had to select few colleges. Vartak college was my first priority as it is a good college and nearby my residence also. The admission process was hassle-free and very smooth. My name was entered in the third list according to a merit basis. Cut of was 82.2% and I had scored 82.2% so I was lucky enough to get my position secured in the college.
The admission process was smooth and hassle-free. The college gave us the best support and all the information regarding the admission process.Even aftrr aftrr the admission therr was complete support from the office and also the faculty of college.Even the teaching and extra curricular activities ahe held which gives student an overall development. Also in covid situation there was problems regarding admission also there was no forcement for payment of fees whicj gave student a refief. Also the environment of the entire campus is friendly d safe.Even the counselling day was the best proper orientation was carried out.The auditorium of the college is the best with air conditioner and proper maintaince. The teachers are super friendly and helps us when we need them. Also there are fest held like saree day, traditional day, etc. Also there are subject related fest carried out which helps students to boost their mental power and gain immense knowledge. This college is best for overall development
