Eligibility: To pass the entrance exam named NATA (an exclusive exam for architecture) Precisely to score above 80 . In order to get high counciling placements it is important to score more than 110. The exam pretty difficult, but post COVID the exams hv become pretty much easier that a lot PPL seems to feel overconfident towards the course. The improvements would be to re introduce drawing tests , exclude shape IQ based questions, since it doesn't pretty much give an idea of what architecture is to the examines. The test can include more of basic structural questions, drawing analytic questions.
1. Proper/equal ratio of girls and boys 2. Senior faculties should encourage students to think out of the box but good connection between the faculty who are always available to solve issues for students 3. Strictly no ragging in/outside the premises 4. Regular cycle tests are also conducted without any pressure on student's regular routine of classes
B.arch is a 5 year course, the aim of the course is to make future architects with best possible skills , it gave us the exposure to the application of technologies and now i realize its importance because i am implementing all my knowledge i learned then.
The course curriculum focuses to impart education in streams such as arts, humanities, engineering, environmental studies etc which are used to study the aspects of agriculture industry. The duration of the course is five years, divided into ten semesters. The subjects include basic design & visual arts, building construction, model making & workshop, theory of structures, architectural design, contracts & specifications etc. We also undergo practical training so that our skills are refined more and we can plan the structures of different cities accordingly.
The course duration is two years which is further divided into four semesters. The subjects which we are taught in these four semesters are real estate finance, construction project management, urban policy & regulations, introduction to real estate design & development, contract law, laws relating to property & land procurement etc. Moreover we have to choose a elective subject in all the four semesters. The total seats in our college are 20 for M.arch in real state management.
Its a five year course wherein one whole year goes for internship. The other four years is an assortment of exercises and writing however significantly in house studio fill in as engineering being a sly and creative course which needs a great deal of handy work than just examinations and tests. There will be a ton of investigating, experimentation and hands-on-function as its an expressive course.
Courses curriculum of B.arch. programme is hectic as there is a lot of research work, practicals and projects works.Projects have to be submitted on time otherwise marks are deducted. college follows its own syllabus.which book we have to purchased is informed to the students.
The course structure is good.It mostly includes project works and practicals. In the starting year of this course It became a liitle difficult for me to perform well in projects but then through good learning and practical works It becomes more understanding. There are total 10 semesters in whole course.overall,i was happy with the course curriculum of the college.
The curriculum is good. There is a good mix of technical and creative subjects in each semester. We have compulsory intership/training in the course curriculum. Most of the exams are presentation based for the students.
The course structure was of five years. There was compulsory interships for all students for one year. Most of the exam is viva and practical based. The subjects are also very hands on and practical based since the course is a creative one.
