The events in the Sports club are Badminton, Carom , Arm wrestling, Dead lift, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Tug of War, Football, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Solo Singing, Creative Modelling and Quiz. Participation in all the above-mentioned events was open for both boys and girls. There was a substantial number of student participation. Students were energetic, enthusiastic, overwhelming and full of lives. The University Sports Week evoked the greatest interest in sports among students.
There are many extracurricular activities organised by university like poem and shayari competitions, advertisement making contest for MBA students, quiz's, poster making competitions, rangoli and mehendi contest, debate and GD's competitions and so more. These all activities help students in showing their hidden talent. Students from other colleges are also invited for many intra-college competitions.
To release stress and feeling relax after such a hectic schedule and pressure of studies extracurricular activities and sports becomes the essence of life. The college provides a full fledged way of entertaining us and build our interests and passion. There is a separate sports club for various sports activities, Cultural clubs where we can get a platform to build our inner talent. Special seminars and sessions are conducted for our welfare in which the renowned personalities are invited for our best personal and professional guidance.
To inculcate a feeling of oneness and belongingness amongst the students, several extra curricular activities are organised by the college and these activities include cultural evenings, seminars, fests etcetera.
There are several extra curricular activities organised by the college throughout the year. The main intention behind organising these activities is to provide a platform to the students to learn new and different things.
The college holds committees such as anti ragging cell, counselling cell, equal opportunity cell etc. There are selection processes that take place in the college. Once one becomes part of the cell, the participation would look prominent on the resume.
I was part of the equal opportunity cell that engaged in conducting activities and working on their agendas in a systematic manner. When I went for my future career options, the companies also stressed upon some extra curricular activities that I managed to do so, I was relieved.
There are very few extracurricular activities for us in cultural activities. We have seminars, events, various social events and health seminars and days celebrated. Sports facilities like carrom, badminton, cricket, etc are available. Labs are well maintained and equipped with modern and necessary equipment
college usually organise extracurricular activities based on the medical filed such as awareness programmes regarding, occurring health issue, emerging health problems. The recent and latest activity conducted was regarding Corona virus awareness programmes. Included awareness training class, health and fitness education etc.
The college enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities and also organize cultural functions. Seminars and workshops are also held. The gender ratio is also good.
