Mar Ivanios is located in a commercial area.So students can avail most of their necessities including stationary,food items, clothing and so on.College ground is provided for the students along with a basketball court.College also have placement cell
The economics department have a retired senior faculty as the HOD along with young teachers who are always supportive.There are three canteens that provide affordable and quality food.The computer centre having about 50 computers provide good wifi.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course offers a strict curriculum consisting of six semesters.The course I opted for was BA ANALYTICAL ECONOMICS.It was slightly different from the ECONOMICS course in that the former was more analytical and uses various mathematical as well as statistical datas and also looks on to more real life examples.The college conducts regular exams in the form of one internal exams and an external exams in a semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is civil service oriented. Final year is fully comprised of core economics papers while the first and second year contain optional and language papers. The main difference between normal and Analytical Economics is that mathematical component is high in the latter.

Curriculum and syllabus needs vast modification and should be made practical and job oriented

My opinion about the curriculum is neutral. But there needs a lot of moderation in it to fit in with the requirements of this dynamic world. Here a systematic study of economic theories and concepts are done. But practical knowledge is hardly imparted

Overall experience is really good. Campus provided me a bunch of good friends who are really trustworthy.Our college provides us a lot of opportunities which are really helpful in our academics.
Campus helped me a lot to improve myself.

Dislikes

Placements are less which is a thing what I disliked.
College has a good ambiance but the campus area is less.

The courses offered by this college is great. The curriculum includes various subjects. We have mathematics and history as complimentary which we can choose. Politics is a compulsory complementary subject.

The cleanliness of the college.Its very much good and neat with good nature.
The course facilities and the structure and conduct of exams.Ghe exams are conducted as announced before in correct time unlike other colleges.

Dislikes

The biased management.The management shows favour to its liked political party and specifically 'Relegion'
The teachers even find difficult in their groups.Thers is an incident where a teacher find mental harrasment.

First of all I choose this course because of my parents.But when I started it I started to enjoy it.The curriculum is so good.In the beginning itself we are informed about the entire field and curriculum of the course.It teaches us Economics with specifically with mathematics and that's why called it 'Analytical Economics'.The department association conduct various programmes and sessions to enhance the field of study.The teaching methods is so good with the well teachers.The exams are of good conduct and also the seriousness of the questions.It's little bit of difficult but very much to be get passed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is the most dynamic course in social science. It offers more job opportunities compared to any other social science branch. Your class may consist of around 70-80 students. The number of faculties is very poor since the Department of Economics is very small than any other department in Ivanios. Quality of teaching is average. Being autonomous, all exams are conducted timely.
