• The candidates must have completed their education up to the higher secondary level.
• The school from which students obtain their class 12th degree must be affiliated to a recognized central or state board of education.
• It is mandatory for the candidate to have received passing marks in all the subjects that he/ she has at the 10 + 2 level.
• The aggregate marks scored by the student in the class 12th board exams should not be less than 50%.
• English has to be a compulsory subject in class 12th.
• The candidate will be required to appear for CLAT in the year in which he/ she seeks admission to the university.
