Shivaji College of Education, Karwar

Shri Shivaji College of Education, Kannada was established in 1972. It is running under the Shivaji Education Society. The Shivaji Education Society runs this college as a Model Teacher Training Institute with qualified and efficient staff and all necessary equipment’s for the development of Professional competencies of prospective teacher. The college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E).

College offers one year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. It is affiliated with Karnataka University. The main mission of the college is to develop understanding, interest, attitudes and skills necessary for fostering and guiding all round development for the students and develop an active interest in the co-curricular activities. The college is 8 K.M from Konkan Railway station, (Shirwad) Karwar and 2 K.M from the Central Bus Station Karwar.
