Merit list and Interview
Being the pampered child, my parents did not want me to go out of the state for pursuing my Post Graduation and thus, the full throttle search for the best college began and I landed up in JIM. Although, when I got admitted in JIM it was relatively new but was already beating it's all the competitors in the region. There were certain other factors as well that we considered:Affordable fee structure.Homely EnvironmentUpdated Curriculum and exposure on professional front.Well equipped Library and proper mentoringNearness to the hometown.In- Campus facilities. My campus was a residential Campus and we had proper housekeeping, mess and Canteen facilities.Approachable pedagogy24*7 staff support
My admission was based on the CMAT entrance exam. The admission process is as follows first applied for the admission online, attended the group discussion followed by an interview. And the minimum eligibility mark was 50% in graduation.
I have a valid score of 76% in the MAT entrance exam. And then, I fill out the application form and then, I was selected for a Group discussion and then based on my score in GD, I was selected for a personal interview.
Overall the campus is so good. and you get all the facility in one roof only and in an easy way. The atmospheres positive and the crowd of our college is good. You can easily connect with different state people in one roof.
- If you are a day scholar and planning to stay in Indore city, you may have to travel almost 40 kms (to and fro) regularly. I did that. It was 46 kms for me. - 3 kms road to college will make you realize that why India is still developing. - You are not allowed to enter classroom post scheduled time. (Marked Absent, and I even got sub-graded :P) - I hope the canteen food has improvised (Mess is a different story, altogether). It all depends on your taste senses. Overall, it is the best institute to be in for your PGDM/MBA, particularly in central India. Personally and very practically speaking, If you are not at IIM than its better to be at JIM (Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore). ROI is up to the mark. Exposure to corporate culture is best.
