Institute of Productivity and Management(IPM), Kanpur, offers Post Graduate in Diploma Management program (PGDM) equivalent to the MBA degree course. The course duration for the program is two years. The PGDM program further specializes in five different management specializations.

Aspiring candidates for the PGDM program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

To apply for the PGDM program, candidates must have appeared in any of the National level Aptitude Tests like CAT/ MAT / CMAT / GMAT or any other National Level Aptitude Test.

Shortlisted candidates have to go through Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds which will be conducted by IPM, Kanpur.

Key Points to remember for PGDM Admission:

A valid score in any of the National Aptitude Tests is mandatory for applying for the course.
The final selection will be done on the basis of overall academic performance in the Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Any Eligible candidate can be rejected at any stage of admission process as the final decision of Admission is in the hands of Admission Committee of Institute in all matters.
The institute will inform the selected candidates about their admission through registered post. They must pay the first installation of fees as given in the letter of Admission before the the date mentioned.
In case of failure, seat will be given to next candidate in waiting.

Admission:

I visited the college and bought the application form and filled all the details along with my entrance test score. I got a call from the college and attended the counseling process which consisted of a group discussion and basic interview and some formal document verification. After successful verification, I paid the fee.

Admission:

I applied online for the PGDM course with my MAT exam score. College creates a merit list based on a number of factors. I was further called for the group discussion round and PI round. My brother has done his masters from this college, that's why I chose this college.

Admission:

The entire admission process is pretty robust. I applied to the college via online mode. My MAT scores were pretty good and uploaded the documents with my application. The next step in the selection process was the interview round which was pretty intense. They grilled me on the topics from my graduation and my managerial skills. Overall it went well and I was granted admission.

Admission:

Entire admission process was simple and direct. I was looking to pursue a general MBA and I got to know about the executive MBA later. The applicant with relevant work experience is eligible to apply for an executive MBA. Though admissions to the program are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
