Candidates seeking admission to B.E courses should have complied with the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu. The norms would be the marks secured in the higher secondary board examinations and the marks obtained from competitive exams such as TNPCEE/CET.
H.Sc Academic and Vocational students is an aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and Vocational subjects put together should be:

Admission Guidelines

The selection of candidates for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2016 will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200 (Mathematics – 100, Physics + Chemistry – 100 in the qualifying examination).

TNEA Exam Pattern

All questions will be objective type only.

Questions will be asked from Physics, Math and Chemistry at Intermediate level.

Exam duration will be for two and half hours.

Questions will be in English language only.

Total number of questions will be 150 and there will no negative mark for wrong answer.
