JMIT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for B.Tech should have 10+2 qualification in a non-medical stream, with an aggregate of 45% in at least 5 subjects including English. For SC/ ST candidates, this is relaxed to 42.75%. A counselling will be carried out by the Haryana State Counseling Society or HSCS in June.
JMIT B.Tech Selection Criteria
- Selection is done via the student’s performance in JEE Mains Paper 1, or AIEEE in case of students passing out before 2013.
- 20% of the seats are reserved for lateral entry. Candidates should have completed a 3-year diploma program in the relevant stream from an Engineering or Technical institute with an aggregate of 45% in all subjects, or completed a B.Sc with Physics and Maths and an aggregate of 45% can apply. The cut-off is relaxed to 42.75% for SC/ ST candidates. Selection is done via the LEET Exam conducted by HSCS in June.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Mechanical engineering is my passion so I choose this course. If there I consider the mechanical engineering department they have 12 faculty members which was enough for the department. Qualification of faculty is all the teachers are Doctorate in their specific subject and their teaching methods are very effective. Term exams are conducted under Kurukshetra University and its a medium difficult level.

I choose mechanical engineering because I want to work on a project that we made minor to major on our behalf and responsibilities. The exam was 6 months gap between each. There is a semester system in our university that is followed by our college also.

Faculties are good (not excellent). College should have more experienced faculty from NIT/IIT (it is missing here). Syllabus is fine, all the portions are covered well on time. Practical work should be improved here.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure was changed after I passed out and it was feasible at that time as it was 55000 per annum but after that, I think it was changed to 85000 per annum which is a huge change and being distant from the national capital region, I think people are not as keen to pay a hefty amount.

Fees structure is expensive according to me because my annual fees 85000? which is very much good amount of money for me so I think my fees very expensive according to the college whereas the hostel charges or the bus facility charges are not included

The fees structure is somewhat feasible at 84000 rupees as annual fees. But if you are from reserved category then you can apply for different scholarships and loan schemes that will help you a lot in sorting your finances.

Fee structure is quite impressive .we has to pay the least fee as compared to other colleges .its about 58k annually. In two installment students can also avail a fee loan from college and also from any bank fee can be paid either online or offline also
