Spread over 40 acre campus, AKGEC has excellent infrastructure with well-planned complexes for each department
The sports facilities are really impressive be it the basketball court, tennis court , badminton court.

Dislikes

Campus life is soo boring as they conduct no fest throughout the 4 year of college
No festivals take place is this college and the college life is boring

The course curriculum of my college that is Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College was very nice I chose mechanical engineering because I have always been passionate about machines and engines and always fascinated me think that's why I chose mechanical engineering and studying here was a nice experience.

The campus is very good greenery is every where
Sports is my favourite like badminton court is very well made here and a large cricket ground

The sports facilities of the college , like as I'm the part of athletics the coach sir is very friendly and helps us wherever needed.
The college has a great skills foundation known as AKGEC Skills , which provides industrial training skills.

Dislikes

The college has no cultural fests and no cultural events.
The academic pressure on the students is very high.

Placement Experience:

Very few placement opportunities are there in the college it is hard to get a good placement. Some mass recruiter companies like Accenture, Capgemini,TCS have visited the college and placed around 300 students offering the CTC around 3-4 LPA. Although the placement percentage is more than 90%

Everything is good for a simple living student.

Placement Experience:

From beginning of 7th semester i.e 4th year companies begins to visit the college according to branches. Amazon, Flipkart,tcs etc visited and gave numerous offers. Highest package was 1.13 cr lpa and avg is 8lpa. I will consider doing job after getting degree.

AKGEC SKILLS offers students a wide range of skill development courses inside the college campus
Facilities provided by the college are great.

Dislikes

Strict Attendance Norms that forces students to attend classes regularly.
Less companies come for the placements and all the students do not get placed

Placement Experience:

Placement are not that great, being a mechanical engineering student I can find companies coming for placement offers for a package ranging from 3 - 6 LPA. We are eligible for the placements in fourth year. The company also supports off campus placements.

overall placement is good in the college. Big companies like amazon come and companies like Infosys also. The average package in college is approximately 7.5 lakh. So if you are applying to college for any branch it is good for you and your career also.

From 7th-semester students get the opportunity to sit in placement. The placement of our college is the best in AKTU. It is best for cs it students. With avg package of 7 lakhs. The highest package of our college is 1.13 cr.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of AKG is very strict. They conduct internal exams in every 2 months to make the students ready for university exams. The syllabus of internal exams is the same as university exams. The internal exams are much more difficult than the university exams. So, if you have scored good marks in internal exams, it is very easy to pass external exams. Aslo the faculty of AKG is very supprotive and motivated towards their duties. They are always ready to help students.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students are eligible for placement process it may vary according to Training and Placement Department. There are very few companies fore core Mechanical Engineering Job most of students are unplaced beacuse few conpanies come and select few students almost 80% students does not get job placement from college. If I talk about highest package during my placement turn that goes upto 3.5 Lakh per annum which is given by HI-TECH GEARS for profile of Trainees other companies offer 3lpa 2.5 lpa and below. Many of student based on their caliber, effort & luck are able to get placement Off Campus means get placement own their self basis not by college. Many of students prepare for GATE exam to get selection in IIT for MTech and PSUs which offers a attractive package and most of other students go for government jobs preparation.
