General Nursing and Midwifery [GNM] From SNC, Shimla

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years Full-time Diploma Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

• The Female Candidate (Indian National) should have passed the 10 + 2 class preferably Science- Medical (Physics, Chemistry Biology) & English with aggregate 40 % marks from a recognized Board of School Education or it's equivalent Board. Candidates having 40% aggregate marks in 10+2 stream Non-Medical, Arts, and Commerce, etc. are also eligibly and can also apply for the same. For SC/ST there will be a relaxation of 5% marks.
• The age of candidates should be between 17 to 35 years (as on 31st December of the admission year) or as directed by H.P. Nursing Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit. However, a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit shall be applicable for SC/ST candidates.
