Course curriculum is too vast. But as this is a noble proffesion and ny dream one to save people so chose being in this field. Faculty of our college is too good. All the faculty members are highly qualified being either Doctor or Doctorate. Teacher method is also good. There are various exams like PCT,Terms, then Sem and Proff(the final) in each year.. The exams are too standard and ya a bit difficult for everyone to pass

i have choosen mbbs because I want to become a doctor and help people there is around 10 or more faculty in each department, which includes professors and tutors. several assistants and lab technics are also there part completion tests are held every time a unit is over, and semester exams are held every 3-4 months.
One thing u can be sure off is that we have top notch faculty. Most professors are as good or better than government college professors and have extremely good grasp on the subject. Each department has around 8-10 professors, so basically each prof teaches 1-2 chapters at Max , mostly in accordance to their specialisation. The term tests are quite difficult to pass however as final papers are made by the university itself, so these difficult term tests help u prepare for the finals.

I was keen on pursuing this course since I was a kid, so it was no-brainer for me to go and proceed with this course after getting selected. It is a very good college and quite convenient for me to travel there since the transportation facilities in Jadavpur, Kolkata is quite impressive. Most of our faculty members are doctors themselves and are qualified enough to impart knowledge in the subjects they have chosen to. We have IAs, vivas and PCTs quite often along with the timely semesters and they are conducted professionaly. The passing criteria is 50% for both theories and practicals. Being honest, it's quite challenging to ace in these exams but can be done with regular and diligent studying.

Parents' wishes were a driving factor in my choice of stream. The faculty-student ratio is poor in some government colleges but it's respectable in most privately owned colleges. There are 3 semesters in a session along with a lot of internal assessments in the new regulations that you have to pass along with keeping a 75% attendance in all the subjects ( theory and practical both). Tests are somewhat difficult if you aren't thoroughly prepared for it. Most tend to fail anatomy in the first semester. Then there will be a professional exam at the end of the session that will determine promotion to next year.
I always wanted to become a doctor so i choose this profession. Faculties are enough. There are at least 2 teachers for every subject.. who are highly qualified. Teach very well. The exams are tough. But if proper studies are done for the whole year you can score well.
Since its a private college, the fees is accordingly charged. The overall fees is around INR 9 Lakhs and it increases 10% every year as per the college norms. The students coming from well to do families only can afford such high pay for studying this course in KPCMC&H.It is just a dream for many as the fees may seem to be high or expensive.

The fee structure is set and authorized by the Govt. of West Bengal. When i was during my course, the fee was around INR 7L per annum but it increases by 10% every year. The fee is a little high and may not be affordable for everyone.
The fee structure is not that affordable, to begin with but the career opportunities after the completion of the course are humongous. The total fee for the government seat is about 10 lakhs which is decent enough.
