RPGMC Kangra offers admission to MBBS based on NEET UG. Himachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling is expected to begin in July 2024 for allocation of seats for admission to MBBS at RPGMC Kangra. NEET PG 2024 is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2024 for admission to MD/ MS at RPGMC Kangra.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College is one of the premier institutions of Himachal Pradesh, situated in Tanda of Kangra District. Affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, this institution was established in the year 1997, and the college received permanent recognition from the Medical council of India (MCI) in 2004.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College offers MBBS (5 ½-year course) and BDS (5-year course) at the undergraduate level. The college has an admission capacity of 100 seats for the course. The admission for undergraduate courses in the medical colleges in Himachal Pradesh are based on NEET-UG entrance examinations, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Selection of candidates is done through state level counselling conducted by Himachal Pradesh University on Behalf of State Government (Department of Medical Education and Research). The counselling is held on merit-cum choice basis, in both state and All-India quota.
Candidates applying for MBBS and BDS seats should have passed 10+2 examinations with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-technology subjects. The student should have obtained minimum 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology subjects in the qualifying examinations.
B.Sc. graduates from a recognized Indian University or equivalent recognized by the University board can also apply, provided they should have secured minimum 50% marks with not less than two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) subjects. These candidates should have also completed their 10+2 with minimum 50% together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology subjects in the qualifying examinations.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Kangra provides MD and MS courses in 15 different specializations. The admission process for all the courses are based on National Entrance Eligibility test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). Every year there is an exam Neet Ug The eligibility of the exam is you have to pass or ongoing 12 examination. The cutoff depends upon the various States if you want to pursue the fbbs in a reputed college then you have to score under 5000 or 10000 only rank. You will definitely get the reservation on the exam there is a 27% OBC category and respective in SC and ST category. Cut-off mainly depends upon the state because in NEET UG 85 percent of seats are from store state quota and the remaining 15% are from all India quota

Yes ! It was a huge and tremendous process in reaching a medical college . You have to clear NEET UG exam to reach a medical college. You are noticed from MCI site all about the neet . Reservation is applied in the medical colleges. Should be under the surveillance of a senior authoirty
Admission is via the aspirant's NEET rank. The all-India cut-off for general went till around 5k, proving for it to be an above-average college. There is no other criteria apart from your performance in neet.
Neet 2017 You need to qualify NEET Exam for entrance into medical college. You can enter either via state quota or all india quota You'll be examined before admission for eligibility in medical sciences.
To get admission in my college one has to clear all india level exam NEET which held on 1st sunday of may every year. The himachal pradesh University makes merit list through which students are alloted seats in 6 government and 1 private colleges in Himachal pardesh
